Battle footage:
• Battle of Austerlitz /...
The Battle of Austerlitz (2 December 1805), also known as the Battle of the Three Emperors, was one of the important and decisive military engagements of the Napoleonic Wars. The battle occurred near the town of Austerlitz in the Austrian Empire (modern-day Slavkov u Brna in the Czech Republic). Around 158,000 troops were involved, of which around 24,000 were killed or wounded. The battle is often cited by military historians as one of Napoleon's tactical masterpieces, in the same league as other historic military battles like Cannae or Gaugamela.

That Was Epic, Wish we had more living history in the states sadly it seems to be a dying hobby or interest, my buddies and i do the Norse and medieval living history events but thats the ren-fair but we do offer a insight on Viking/medieval life and battle, saving up and looking to get into the US civil war {my state was involved} like to get into the American revolution and 1812 but i don't live on the east cost or parts of the south like new Orleans, so civil war oh and WW2 is best i can get and ill take it
That's great, man. If possible, follow your passion. I thought the Civil War and the War of Independence were very much alive in the States. After all, living history (Ancient times / Middle Ages) is more of a European matter. It's always changing in reenactment. People come and go - or do other historical periods. For years I did a reenactment as a French Young Guard, but that was a some time ago, I don't have as much time for it now as I would wish, and even then living history was mostly done by "old-timers".
Nice video thx i was been there in Grenadier uniform from 59 infanterie regiment Von Daun of Austrian army and music in video is super cool my favorite song British Grenadiers
Thank you for the kind words. Glad you like it. :) Oh I remember your grenadier squad. You looked fantastic as always!

La Victoire est a nous would be too much epic for this simple video. :)
@@merullaartWhy did you display the British Grenadiers march song in your video. That’s clearly Napoleon Army, The Old Guards and Middle Guards. La Victoire est à nous will makes more sense
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 Because I like that song and I can put whatever I want in my video.
@@merullaart understandble
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 have a great day✌
Where are the Russians ? They played big role in the battle
The Russians were not on the march, as they enter the battle shortly after it begins. We were already in another place. You can see them on photo at 2:00
unnecessary with this fife and drum music
"You know what would make a video of a battle reenactment between the French and Austrians even better? British drum and fife dragoon march music." 🤦🏻♂️
"You know what would make the internet better? If only people would stop complaining about everything."🤷♂
