Watching that Pershing 108 shoot a 30+ ft rooster tail is pretty badass! Absolutely gorgeous boat.
I dunno, kinda looks like they left the swing platform submerged.

@@macdonagh313 Pershings are usually equipped with surface propellers, this is normal for those boats.

Wow, that Pershing 108 is in a league by itself. Love that deep gray paint scheme. It just glides over the water on plane. I've always wondered, how does the captain see over the bow when a yacht that size is on plane? Just seems like it would be difficult to know whats in front of you.
I've watch a few of those yacht tour videos, they have a few displays in those things for the captain, I saw one with some serious night vision

The first video of that Pershing 108 really had me mesmerized. Something about that very odd combination of like Battleship Gray, but not quite when I turned my brightness up I see it had silver mixed in that was reflecting the Sun, but it was a very odd color as it was moving through the water. I just couldn't take my eyes off it. Looked like it needed a turret in the bow with a nice 40 mm Cannon or something like that just for show not even a real one it looked very military-ish at certain angles.
WOW, actually i live just about 300m away from where that Astondoa was built!!! What an awesome boat!!!! i've seen many of this boats in Santa Pola (Spain). GO ASTONDOA!!!!

That’s Pretty Dam Amazing!! Fantastic Footage with the Drone, Nice Flying. Learn something new every day, I thought these Behemoths of the Wealthy were a lot more Expensive. Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t even afford the mooring lines, But in today’s times I could see a lot more people having something like this. They are Beautiful Works of art, for sure.
Purchase cost is one thing, operational costs another. Fuel docks are selling diesel at over $7.00/gal. These boats at speed are well above 70 gph

Expect to pay 20% a yr in operating costs per year. 10 million/ 2 million to run it, minimum. Not to mention that 10% depreciation the first year.

Luv the Drone Shots, but they seem to convey much less about just how rough the water is behaving. Maybe it's just the cam angle or image stabilization vs a fixed shore based cam. Just wondering, how many drones have you lost to water landings ?

Inquiry: all of the yachts that were destroyed by Ian...how are they disposed of? Is there a landfill for boats? After salvage, what happens?
If I go to Florida and want to take a ride/tour through haulover and some other places can I hire/pay a captain for a ride?
You can rent anything you want in Florida . I did everytime I was down there. That's where I met my future wife going to college. We were young at the time but we stayed together and ended up going for it.

A real shame American boat manufacturers in the 70-100 ft range have pretty much disappeared except for sport fishing boats.
small passenger boat include yacht isnt business profitable. It have limited potential buyers, only in usa and small number in europe and other parts of the world

I’ve looked on Yachtworld and don’t see prices anywhere close to ones you’ve posed eg Azimut 116 and the Riva. Asks are much higher.
Not to mention the crew the cook the maintenance the docking any boat has expenditures but these things are off the deep end if you will Money Pit Galore anybody that gets one of these needs money just to keep it afloat and in the water the price of fuel to fill it up just think about how big the gas tank is or diesel.

What is the range on your drone?
I have a dji phantom 4 that easily reaches 2.5 miles. Especially if it’s as clear as it looks to be here. I’d say I’m closer to the 3 mile range from takeoff point
