Captured Western equipment is unlikely to be helpful without the parts to build them. For example, with out the optics fabrication capability, knowing how weapons sites are built is pointless. Just the same, knowing how to build a western style tank isn't a secret, but it's cheaper to rebuild a T62 into a modern version than design and built a completely new tank from scratch. Most of the stuff captured was designed in the 1970s and built in the 1980s, so this isn't exactly a show case of new or advanced technology.

people tend to forget one thing when designing armored vehicles which it velocity is king, a grain of sand travelling at 45-55,000 (approx. mach 71, yes i am biased to 71) mph can destroy pretty much anything it is almost impossible to defend against, which is why armor is pretty much obsolete for now until we come up with KR/DA, plasma tech will come close to that, hopefully an advancement with copper-ene (stupid name) like they have done with Gold-ene we shall see, slava ukraini

We are talking about the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, right? If you combine everything the NATO Alliance has supplied, from small arms and HUMMVVs to Patriots and tanks and e.tc, it's still less than 20% of the Alliance's stockpile. An old western tank from ybe late 1990s is technology thats over 30 plus years old. Hence why NATO and especially America will not send any technology that would compromise their own abilities. But i suppose that even 30 year ild NATO technology is 20 years ahead of even Russias best tank which is the T90M and tbey have already had confirmed 50 destroyed and that's only the ones we can confirm with geo location, time and area it was destroyed so the number of Russians most modern technology advanced tank is the T90M and likely over 70 or 80 have actually been destroyed.

Captured Western equipment is unlikely to be helpful without the parts to build them. For example, with out the optics fabrication capability, knowing how weapons sites are built is pointless. Just the same, knowing how to build a western style tank isn't a secret, but it's cheaper to rebuild a T62 into a modern version than design and built a completely new tank from scratch. Most of the stuff captured was designed in the 1970s and built in the 1980s, so this isn't exactly a show case of new or advanced technology.
people tend to forget one thing when designing armored vehicles which it velocity is king, a grain of sand travelling at 45-55,000 (approx. mach 71, yes i am biased to 71) mph can destroy pretty much anything it is almost impossible to defend against, which is why armor is pretty much obsolete for now until we come up with KR/DA, plasma tech will come close to that, hopefully an advancement with copper-ene (stupid name) like they have done with Gold-ene we shall see, slava ukraini

The only thing Russia can learn from this vehicles is stabilization on turrets but I'm sure they know all of it already it just comes down to cost. NATO vehicles are just as crap as Russians ones but more difficult to fix lol

An old western tank from ybe late 1990s is technology thats over 30 plus years old. Hence why NATO and especially America will not send any technology that would compromise their own abilities. But i suppose that even 30 year ild NATO technology is 20 years ahead of even Russias best tank which is the T90M and tbey have already had confirmed 50 destroyed and that's only the ones we can confirm with geo location, time and area it was destroyed so the number of Russians most modern technology advanced tank is the T90M and likely over 70 or 80 have actually been destroyed.
This war proves that a bit modernized t64 and t72 is still useful effective tanks. Both of these countries are technologically far behind but numbers matter in this war.
