Frozen Planet II (2022)
This six-part series - narrated by Sir David Attenborough - explores the wildlife found in the world’s coldest regions: the Arctic and Antarctic, high mountains, frozen deserts, snowbound forests, and ice-cold oceans. From polar bears to penguins, and from snow monkeys to Siberian tigers, each species must overcome a unique set of challenges to endure its extreme environment.

Ducks and geese are so lucky, they can walk , swim and fly
They ain't one trick ponies 👌🏼
You forgot, they also taste good. 😂
But suck at all 3.
Until they get killed and eaten by predators or shot by hunters.
Heart Wrenching and breath taking
I was surprised that these ducks can digest those shells.
The last bird looks so bad ass. I was so baffled, like, where are its eyes. Oh it's blended with the dark color of it's head. And the white part is so edgy complimented by the beakline.. Just majestic, inspirational, bad ass.
Glad to know I'm not the only one with this reaction to some animals. Some animals evolved really striking markings and I've always been fascinated by them. The black eye strip keeps them from getting snow blindness and the contrasting colors helps them see each other while diving, because it's better to stay with the group and keep tabs on each other. The end result is something that looks almost painted.
Narration is far better than having to read while the video plays. The coloring of the letters makes it more difficult to read, and it distracts us from the actual beautiful footage. I suppose we could just rewatch it, but hearing a narrator is more relaxing.
BBC footage + nature being nature + orchestral arrangements = tugged heartstrings 💚😢😌
They’re one of the cutest ducks in existence. Love them
Eider Duck is one of my favorite birds and seeing how they live is a real honor for me. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
Sometimes jus feel like humans are always safe and living comfortable life. Animals fight for their survival in daily life.
Trapped under ice in freezing cold water, waiting to drown… what are horrible way to die
I'm from east Africa Eritrea🇪🇷 I l so much animals God bless for everything to make it to 😊🙏🙏🙏
Evolution and God make it 😉
Praise TMH YAH 🙏🏾
I’m from Edmonton Alberta Canada and I also love this show
Feels odd watching a nature documentary without Attenborough's narration
That is so tragic :*(
I was not prepared to watch a duck die of suffocation
The noise Eider ducks make is so great. Like two old ladies at the bingo who've just heard some either shocking or intriguing.
So cute to see them .
bitch they is dying. nothing cute about seeing it.
May the whole world enjoy prosperity happynes and peace. Be blessed by the divine power
Evolution again at its finest. This is what keeps me so enthralled by mother nature. Seeing just a glimpse in real time things that will alter the animal, plant, or whatever for generations to come that we will never experience the results from. Yes we see right now the results of evolution from way back but I love the curiosity of what the now will bring then!
No fiaryland not evolution
😢an excellent video It’s a death trap oasis for the younger ducks 😭.
the underwater filming is insane, and he had to watch and couldnt help the young duck...
Probably a ROV filming vs. a diver.

Amazing film footage, but we couldn't read most of the script bc the font is white with a lot of white backgrounds. Could only read a few of the words... 😪
These ducks probably live a more harsh and brutal life than penguins in Antarctica 🤔
Amazing vid, though I prefer audio narration so o can focus more on the footage. However, I like the accessibility that text provides.
Survival of the fittest 💪🏻
That was a sad ending.😔
Poor duck
My heart broke
Nature has taught us so much

Amazing!
Excelente documental👍😉
In USA, a hedgehog is a four footed creature with bristles for protection.
@@jerrylee8261 Ok?
Cada vídeo fantástico e nós ficamos embevecidos com as vidas árduas e só os mais fortes sobrevivem em luta contra a natureza adversa!! Que belos ...

De mis aves favoritas, hermoso video, gracias por compartir!!! 👏👏👏👏👏😃👍🙏
I have the same name as this duck.
Sooo cold how they survived there..
nice
Amazing that they swallow mussels with the shell on. What do they do with sea urchins?
They eat them whole too. It said and showed it in the video.
I always wonder how cameramen shot this footage under the ‘bone-freezing’ water!!
they probably used a couple of those camera submarines
Wow
I m from Bangladesh.
Where else have I heard this music??
Eider ducks fight to survive. I sure wish HUMANS would...
Jesus Christ, I didn't want to watch a duck drown

🤔
Apparently AJ ducked a fight to survive too…. 😌
I can't stand watching the animals die
bedding of this duck is 4000 euro
*_So uh, my dog died and I miss him so much..._* 😟🥀⚰️
So sad .
I'm sorry for your loss.
You always can get another one 🧡
Get a puppy 🐶 if possible it worked for me I thought I wouldn’t want another one but you will miss all the thing you would do with your poor doggy :(
this planet is too cruel for all forms of life on it. Fighting, eating, killing each other, not to mention bad climate.
🎀дякую🪄
It makes me not want to watch your videos if you show animals dying… cant there be a trigger warning or some such to know which ones show animals suffering
That title is clickbait💯 they are not fighting to survive. They are doing fine within their habitat. And you don’t know what they are doing you’re not actually living with them
Yup, because dozens of one species swimming against a strong-ass current just to reach oxygen while finding food, with many dying: that sure it's "fighting to survive" at all. Dumb, dumb comment. I hate clickbait titles but this isn't one.
We literally just saw one at the brink of swimming to safety but get too exhausted to continue *fighting* the current, leading it to drift away and drown under the ice.
