He left everything on the court, and I do truly believe he is the best player on the planet right now. It's not because of Lebron's first round exit, I recognize how AD was injured, the nets went through the same thing. I believe it because KD played more than I have ever seen anyone play, and almost managed to singlehandedly carry the Nets to the next round. It truly hurts being a Nets fan, although over a decade of disappointment left me prepared.

Wade, Bosh and LeBron plotting a reunion in the Olympics, then Wade accepted a significant pay cut to accommodate all 3? Just the fact they talked in the Olympics is against the rules, literal cheating. And after that, the NBA became a circus, players as "friendly" as ever, trying to emulate Miami, etc and as always, the big markets have big advantages (the Lakers knows that very well). If the free agency rules were more strict and fair, I would not say anything. But we all know they are incredibly flawed. • @@goldenstatewarriors9418 Players are not supposed to have more leverage than the franchises, look at the Ben Simmons situation, Zion, John Wall, etc.. there has to be a balance (and it will be balanced, even if it is by force in the very near future). And before the nonsensical "decision", there was balance, the team who drafted better had advantages as they should, the talented player attracted others in free agency, players actually gave the heads up for their teams to trade them and receive something in return, etc What LeBron, Bosh and Wade did was literally against the rules, all of them under contract, they plotted that reunion and Riley had enough information to open the way for the three cowards, all of them earning close to a max salary saved by Wade who got a paycut. It's not like Riley had to work with limited assets because the trade opportunity just happened, no, he knew beforehand what was supposed to happen and he prepared himself a year before, meanwhile every other GM did not had the same advantage, thus this is cheating, simple as it is
