Ive never been a taylor swift fan. I dont hate her, and I do think some of her music (particularly her old 2010s stuff) is good. She’s one of the artists I grew up listening to. But I’ve never considered her more significant than any other big names in the industry. But my God are her fans fucking insufferable. They NEVER shut up about her, center their entire lives around her, and borderline stalk her. I honestly kinda feel bad for taylor since her fanbase makes any form of privacy damn near impossible.

That being said the shockwave of the Era’s tour and her highly publicized relationship with Travis Kelce has made me finally recognize just how grandiose of a phenomenon she’s become and how ravenously tenacious her fanbase is. The real reason? Her music is simple. Not basic. Simple. Decent beat, good voice, standard structure, catchy, and mostly accessible. It's just that. Her pop songs? Not really my cuppa tea. But I decided to give her folklore and evermore albums a chance, and ya know what? I vibe with them. They're nice tunes to listen to when I'm just doing chores or relaxing. I genuinely enjoy her more folky works. A song doesn't have to have overly deep lyrics or complex riffs or crazy breakdowns to be likable.

As a swiftie, I'm thankful for whoever made and thought about this video, and for proving the haters wrong. I've liked Taylor ever since I was around 8, I moment I heard her music I fell in love with it. I don't just like Taylor for her music, but also her sense humor and most importantly for her personality. She is just a incredible artist and a global phenomenon, she can turn anything into a song. When I saw the haters insulting her, I couldn't help but get angry. My friends tease me a lot (I mean a lot) for liking Taylor. They would insult her in front of me just to get a reaction out of me.(Obviously we aren't friends anymore).

I started supporting her when Kanye West bullied her and I felt bad for her. But now her head is too big, I don't care about her anymore.

I'm so glad I grew up in the 70's and 80's. The music was so much better back then. Personally, I find Taylor's music really empty, a lot like the generation that follow her.
I don't obsess over her but I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm incredibly biased towards her. For me I can accept most of her actions as long as it doesn't cross my bottom line. She's like a teacher for me, as someone who has never been in love or gone through heartbreak her songs really teach me about love and her songs are entertaining.
