I had forgotten just how much work has been done on this boat. It looks about 80% done. Hopefully someone will buy it and get afloat. I had also forgotten Andy used to have that floppy hair and no beard...

Great job on describing her for sale Mel. She really is a Honey of a Ship built like a Tank. One thing people should remember is a lot of the internal work can be done when she is in the water. Also you don,t need to rush to mount the Mast etc as you can use her as a launch in the meantime until one is ready do the sailing side of things as funds allow as you would be able to store the mast at home. She would be able to placed on a cheaper mudflat mooring as well. A darn fine Ship which has had a good crew bringing it up to spec. Carry on.

It’s been over week without a vid. I just wanted to say Steve you have been on my mind these last few weeks. Struggling with MH is every day rubbish. You are bloody great bloke and awesome at loads of stuff and have bloody solid family that have your back. So does every person that watch’s these videos, otherwise you wouldn’t have so many subscribers. I can only wish for a handful of friends and half a family you have. You have thousands to fall back on. I for one, I live my dreams from you, and if I had half the balls you have I would be semi sorted. Love you man and can’t wait to see you back. What ever you do. If she was in Australia I would buy her in a second. I was apprenticed at Govan Shipbuilders 1976 so know a lot about steel hulls and this is a beaut of a boat. After completion, this boat will take you from the Arctic to the Bahamas. I would without fear take her all around Australia and to New Zealand knowing steel is your best friend for any expedition in any kind of waters. I just had a look at the reserve price for Steel Melody. Very low price and very good value for what she represents and after all the work you put in. Somebody's bargain, that's for sure.
Melissa and Andy, I sure hope you guys are satisfied with the amount you received for Steel Melody. My wife and I have watched many of your videos following along with all the work you guys did. You two really worked hard. My wife and I took a similar path 4 years ago with a 1988 Catalina 36 (which was not quite as rough as Melody was) so we have some idea of what you went through - except we are retired and you guys had full-time jobs, 2 kids AND made videos!! All I can say is you guys are awesome. Best of luck with Ocean Melody and I can't wait to now watch you guys sail away.

Good work on the film, but this video and your ebay advert really need lots detailed close up pictures of everything. The good, the bad and the ugly. Why no interior photos? The drone shots are ok but the don't give any indication of the condition or quality of the completed works. The devil is in the detail.
There are over 150 video on our channel documenting 3 years of work Literally every week for 3 years. How much more details do you want. I can promise you there isnt a single boat for sale in the UK with a more detailed set of videos about the "good, bad and ugly" of the work we've done. I mean seriously. There's literally thousands of hours of footage of every inch of this boat 😂😂😂😂😂😂

The issue i believe the person is trying to highlight here is that on eBay you will get a larger audience and many people don't know who you are and if the details are not in the add those people won't go on a journey to you tube to find the answers they need to make a decision in buying your boat. I know it can be a pain in the arse to put all the info there but it following all eBay sales models the original poster is correct. Its been great following your journey from the beginning days to now and I hope this boat finds a great new home. Cheers
