  • i love the no-soak method tbh! tatyana bugry also uses it whenever there's no lifting on the prior manicure. if there's no lifting you can safely file off and leave a bit of the older material on, but if it's lifting (especially severely) then it's best to take it off with a soak

  • I'm a regular at a nail salon run by Chinese ladies in Italy. The technique is very similar - though they always wear gloves and I think a set like this would cost around...idk, 80 euros? Definitely under 100. I'm always curious to look at manicure prices in other places! This piece looks great!

  • I go to a salon in my city where they do soft and hard gel depending on what kind of style I’m going for - I usually always go for the complicated designs lol. They charged $165 USD which includes the removal of the previous set (from their salon) and it takes about 3 hrs. My sets usually can last up to 7 weeks (and still look decent), so I think it’s worth it.
