In the special edition of the ANI podcast with Smita Prakash, The guests include Sushant Sareen, an analyst on Pakistan affairs; Tehseen Poonawalla, a political analyst; Anand Ranganathan, an author and scientist; and Abhijit Iyer Mitra, a defense expert and researcher in political ideologies.
Together, they delve into topics such as the 2024 polls and will Mallikarjun Kharge be declared as the prime ministerial face of the ‘India’ alliance.
They also share their views on TMC Neta Mahua Moitra, who was expelled from Parliament over cash-for-query allegations.

It's really difficult to defend someone who you know is in the wrong. But he has made his bed. He has to sleep on it. His leap of logic sometimes surprised even him lmao. Just cut him some slack guys... you were too harsh on him. Toda rehem karo.

They have guts to criticise current government policies too, which tehseen lacks( that he can't even comments on his party poor decisions).tehseen is just another Congress loyalist.

  • I really enjoyed this podcast. I live in the UK and have done so for the last 50 plus years, I was born here but I am of Hindu punjabi heritage. I have family in India. I love India and am so happy to see its rise. This podcast is brilliant and the people debating are a million times more knowledgeable then any analysts etc that you will find in the UK. For decades india had an inferiority complex about itself and its abilities because of the legacy of British colonial rule. You guys are doing great, keep striving forward, try to stay united and I see a bright future for India. I've studied international politics and I can tell you the west is sinking fast. The UK is turning into a real sh*t hole. They have imported millions of crazy immigrants from mainly Islamic countries who are causing havoc within the society. Their education especially at school level is terrible and they have a dumbed down population. They have a terrible, arrogant, biased media who constantly feed to public rubbish and propaganda especially anti india propaganda. They have a few elite universities and private schools which are very good but these are hard to get into and not really accessible by most of the population. The USA, UK and most of the west is going downhill fast.

I had a chat with the seniormost male in english and it was quite a pleasant chat. He mentioned Udayanidhi stalin as someone he inspires a lot in his home town. This shows the societal imprint of Tamil Nadu politics churning out the seeds sown by Justice Part back in 1900s. Well, I was very welcoming to this Tamilian Person and had no feelings of north-south divide. In his speech too, it never inflicted that he's something separate to India. India being first priority to him irrespective of his support to separatist political party of TN. Rightly discussed North-South Divide segment in this Podcast❤ Kudos to ANI Smitha Prakash!!!

  • I am not taking sides, neither I am bothered about what happened in the past. All I know is that Modi is winning because Hindus are not finding another option. Now u call it, Congress mistake or not but they are in their own world of thoughts with appeasement. For now Modi is the best option. But for 2029, we need a party that focuses on economic development and the majority centric right wing party. As of now, I can't see any other option.

  • One observation - Sushant Sareen, Anand Ranganathan and Abijit Iyer Mitra make astute political analysis without any bias or agenda. Unfortunately the same can not be said about Tehseen Poonawalla. He sounds more like a congi spokesperson. In future, we would like to see 1 podcast without any spokesperson of any political party or to balance it out, ANI should invite Shehzad Poonawalla in Samosa Caucus 3.0 edition 😊

That's the reason both the poonawala brothers were in Congress. Shehzaad fell out with rahul gandhi since he was not allowed to grow there. Tehseen is unable to walk out for the sake of Robert Vadra ..

Some of the key highlights - the shout out to True Indology, Smita’s comment about getting serious when Shashi Tharoor’s name was mentioned as PM candidate, Sushant’s insights on Pakistan and AIM’s “catty” side😅. It’s the end of the year so makes sense to keep the convo light hearted. One interesting thing though - how does Tehseen who happens to be Priyanka Vadra’s relative by marriage get a seat at the table?
