There are many children who play amazingly well, but as I said, Mozart was also composing at 5 years old, and continued throughout his childhood and adulthood. He also played violin at that young age, and soon learned to play the harpsichord and viola. There have been only a few genuine child prodigies, and Mozart was one of them.

    • @@kathleenstoin671 Mozart wasn't much of a composer until his late teens, but he only achieved full genius in his early 20s. You can't cheat the reality that greatness comes with maturity. Prodigies are overrated ultimately. Mozart isn't great because of how precocious he was, either as a virtuoso or a composer, but because of the great music he wrote as an adult.

    • @@sophiaperennis2360 He composed his first symphony at age 8. A symphony. Let that sink in. He was already performing before royalty before that. He didn't reach his peak of musical creativity until he was older, but in my opinion, that doesn't diminish his genius even as a child. Many children are musically talented, even precocious, but Mozart was a true phenomenon.

The hardship of life almost always allows a musician to lock into and understand the feelings behind what kind of passion the masters felt when they composed. The scariest part of genius experiencing these things too you (not saying this kid did) but it can cause madness. The more a gifted person can unlock, the deeper they delve into their craft and it can be madenning. Not sure what future lies for t his kid, but art can be a double edged sword at its highest form.

I know the comment I am replying to is only put their for positivity but I am just pointing out that talented means "having a natural aptitude or skill for something." which basically means that they were born to be as good as they are and that they did not really have to show any initiative, dedication or just practise in general and that they are gifted. On a positive note, Elisey is an amazing musician, and he should keep on playing his music for everyone to share the happiness.

A small thing that caught my eye is that when he starts drumming his fingers at 1:45 - you actually notice him playing along to the 1st Violin part.

      @wiroo86@wiroo86 Жыл бұрын
    • @@user-vo6fm7vh9e согласно вашей теории реинкарнации великих классиков, всякий исполнитель, у которого душа лежит к конкретному композитору, представляет собой новое воплощение этого композитора на земле? Как с этой теорией согласуется тот факт, что любого известного композитора исполняют тысячи исполнителей и многие из них привносят в исполнение исходной партитуры свою оригинальную трактовку, и эти трактовки нередко взаимоисключают друг друга, как несовместимы, к примеру, медленное рондо аля турка с быстрым рондо аля турка. Это совершенно разное звучание. Все эти тысячи и тысячи исполнителей, играющих Моцарта по разному - это все моцартовские ипостаси? Он вселился в них? Во всех разом? И играет их руками свою музыку? По разному играет? Скажу честно - вы пишите восторженно-пафосный псевдоинтеллектуальный бред про тела и души, без намека на здравый смысл. Моцарт умер. Остались только ноты, да некоторые сведения об исполнительских традициях предыдущих поколений. Больше ничего. Игра современного исполнителя - это его личное прочтение, ему не шепчет Моцарт на ушко , как это все нужно играть. Игра исполнителя - это проекция личности исполнителя в нотный текст автора, они перемешиваются. Если у исполнителя личность еще не созрела , т.е. нет жизненного опыта, нет творческой независимости, нет самостоятельного взгляда на вещи, то получится как у Елисея Мысина - очень плоское механическое пианино. Послушайте уже наконец и других исполнителей и попробуйте вдумчиво, без мистической белиберды, их оценить. Мысин там точно не в первом ряду и это даже близко не Моцарт.

While I watched you perform I realized I am already lost for words to describe you and your performance and all I can say is WOW and bow to you. At 11 yrs of age you have become such an accomplished concert pianist and and growing up to be a fine well bred young man. You have not lost the innocent modest and shy smile when you acknowledge the audience's applause. Keep that modest demeanor which was seen even when you were younger because it fits you very well. I noticed how even the Conductors and members of the orchestra would be very appreciative of you. Even Mozart I am sure would be smiling. God bless you dear Boy. Somebody said your name Elisey comes from the name of the prophet Elisha and means GOD IS FULNESS. You have been that to us. Watching you perform reminds us of God's goodness. • Elisey, I can not think of a higher compliment than this: I do think that every classical composer both living and dead would be honored and proud to have you play and interpret their compositions. May God continue to bless you and grace you with your talent.

    • God did not grace anybody with anything, child prodigies are often forced to practice non-stop. It is the parents.

    • @@help8help The boy certainly has talent, but this "God given innate talent" if we even suppose a god exists in the first place, is almost insulting to the artist. I know if I was Elisey, I would be deeply hurt. The amount of work this young man has put in behind a piano must be strenuously endless. He is by no means not a prodigy, the fact that he is, is most certainly obvious. But he has also fostered that talent through years of endless hours of work. Talent is like having a seed that grows much faster than another, but it still needs sun and water to grow, otherwise it would go nowhere. So he certainly does have an innate talent, but the practice matters more than anything.

    • @@SuperSneakySakura to bring attention to good fortune is not to downplay hard work. Everyone should be thankful for the talents they have, and it’s good to have comments that remind people of that, along with the comments that appreciate their hard work.

    • @@SuperSneakySakura saying that he has a God given talent or innate ability is certainly not an insult. I agree that his many thousands of hours of practice honing that talent is far more laudable than the talent itself. What we chose to do with the hand we’re dealt (or as I believe, God given talent) what separates ordinary and extraordinary lives. Maybe this young pianist’s parents unfairly took away a lot of his childhood by making him practice many hours every day. But they also did him a favor by forcing relentless effort so that relentless effort is just normal for him. He does seem to be able to express deep emotions through his playing. I think that’s evidence that he’s living with people who love him.
