I really enjoyed watching this. I do appreciate this family holding onto as much of the history as possible. I adore the rustic look. The genuine smiles on the children's face at the end was priceless!! It was a look of real happiness.

Well, we know who will survive an apocalypse! This family is so talented to possess basic skills many in our modern societies have forgotten. I have used saplings of an invasive species to make a sturdy and decorative fence around my garden, but I wish bamboo of the size seen here would grow in my region of the US so I could have used that instead. We have some that grow very tall but never get the girth on them as seen here. I noticed that even the chairs that went with the DIY table were handmade and beautiful. It's funny, the older I get the less I need modernly convinced. I only have cold water right now and have gotten by with boiling water every day to wash dishes, take baths, etcetera and after 6 months of doing so, I don't mind anymore. Though, I do miss a warm shower before bed, lol. Anyone else drool over the prawns they were eating?

I always want to see more of the inside work; but they mostly concentrate on the outside changes. That is great stuff; but tells nothing about the renovation of the house. I want to see all the changes inside.
