Making a Real Invisibility Shield?!

There was a video that went viral a few months ago of something seemingly impossible. A real invisibility shield! So, naturally I was just as intrigued as everyone else that saw it, but I decided then and there that I would build one.
How hard could it be, right? As it turns out, not hard at all. This is the result of some weeks of researching here and there and gathering the necessary materials. This is the real deal. I know it's hard to grasp that it is, but I can assure you that it, in fact, is. XD
The original Quantum Stealth shield video:

This video is how to build a real invisibility shield and how to create it with easy-to-get materials. I hope you enjoy!

    • I would suggest the lenses from edge lit lcd panels instead as the lenses are designed to direct white backlight from the edges to the center. It works in reverse, because if you look at the edge of one these lenses one can see the accumulation of light (its brighter). Similar to looking at the end of fiber optic cables; just remember the lenses have a specific functional orientation.

    • Wouldn't it help to also not line them up but to have it like 1 sheet up 2 down 3rd left 4th right etc? Cuz this would retract the light n since this things still visible u can tell ther's a person if u got a gun well unless that's bullet proof ya would just fire and guess fire till it drops lol. Idk how functional this is. Also a bubble that's retractable and ffs I've just given my own improved design away for free to those with the means to do it b4 me lmao I screw mysepf all the time n end up seeing my ideas become reality shortly after I do shit Like this smh damn it. • Hold the shield further away from you... Like you demonstrated with your hand earlier in the video... Then when wearing black and a white background behind you, you will then not be seen as a distorted silhouette... Also... To make the shield disappear... Because it is a light reflecting material... Don't hold it at an upward angle to the light... Hold it at a slight downward angle... It's a photographer trick when taking pictures of someone who is wearing glasses... If the person to be photographed is wearing glasses, the photographer (hopefully a professional who knows the trick) will have the person lift the ear piece up off their ears ever so slightly to put that downward angle to their eye glasses so that when the photographer presses that button and the flashing of all the lights light everything up, there is no bright light glare where eyeballs should be in the photographs When you were doing your testing in different areas... You actually had it right in the second wooded area... where you crossed the road... You and the shield were invisible for a moment And another tip for you... That material you were having a slight wrestling match with trying to bend it... It is a plastic... A heat gun would have done you wonders Good job tho all the way around on how you did... Especially in explaining how the actual lens work... Keep up the good work and I have also subscribed... And this is my first time seeing your video

  • Loved the Vid, I subbed. Also As some people have mentioned it would be better to wear white to blend more with the dull white of the glass/reflections. Also, also, if you used a wider shield, like 4 feet by 4 feet, it would be in focus for a much greater area. Also also also, I've done some laminating, ie coating things with sheets of clear plastic. It is possible, just time-consuming/ needs some practice, but can be done.

    • I wondered that myself, and to be honest, I'm not really sure. I would imagine that it could fill in the valleys between the lenticules, rendering them useless.
