Wonderful dogs! I had the honor, of having been given the privilege of rescuing, along with the SPCA in Lafayette, la., a golden retriever, from an immigrant Chinese family,, that was raising him for food! Right here in America! He became my best friend, confidante and closest family member for 13 years. His name was Sam.

My Sam, raised my kids, even the neighbor kids would knock on the door and ask to play with Sam! He was my constant companion, he licked my tears in the bad times and even defended me a few times. He was the most wonderful dog that ever breathed the breadth of life. Always remember, If man cannot take care of his animals, both great and small, he has no right travelling to distant worlds! 😀

I seldom laughed, month after month and I cried daily. Since discovering Bailey some months ago, I let Bailey guide my Spirit up out of the funk each day. Bailey is definitely a gift from the Great Loving Spirit. When you see and watch the Creation that is Bailey, you KNOW that there is Still great Love, Beauty, Goodness and and Stunning Intelligence.
