During a routine coffee stop, a man noticed an unexpected notification on his phone, revealing that the waitress had overcharged him for his order. Fueled by unwarranted prejudice against her ethnicity, he wrongly accused the girl of theft... All because of a single dollar. The incident deeply hurt the waitress, who simply followed the café's policy of including an automatic tip.
She promptly responded to the accusation by putting a dollar bill on the table and saying that she didn't need it.
Satisfied, the man pocketed the money and walked out, only to be struck by a scooter.
Much to his astonishment, he found himself back at the same café, reliving the scene from earlier repeatedly. No matter how hard he tried to break the cycle, the scooter was always there at the end, waiting for him. As it turned out, the rude customer was, somehow, trapped in a relentless time loop...

They, the British specifically, were the only people who went "hey, maybe this is wrong?". No one else did. Heck everyone else fought tooth and nail to keep it as an institution, most especially the slave traders in Africa, who were black BTW. King Ghezo of Dahomey (Modern day Benin): "The slave trade is the ruling principle of my people. It is the source and the glory of their wealth…the mother lulls the child to sleep with notes of triumph over an enemy reduced to slavery".

    • @@jadew9177 change the way you react to it. For example instead of complaining / getting sad/ or giving up. Acknowledge it like l have done this before and l can do it again , what am l supposed to learn from this?, this too shall come to pass, am okay and l will always be okay.Soothe yourself as much as you can. If you find yourself reacting in your usual way just flip it to a positive like “yep l have done it again something to learn, maybe this is things working out for me or maybe this is things working out for my highest good or maybe this is something l need to let go further. Or use an askfirmations to override your subconscious mind with positive why questions to yourself like “why is everything always working out for me, Why are my bills paid always paid on time, why is life so good to me, why is this happening for me(not to me)?” All these tips you have to be totally aware of yourself and flip it when you find yourself reacting the old way. These work because l have done them myself. I was then aware of things repeating but did not know how to stop it and l researched. My life is so much better now l don’t sweat the small stuff l just say”aah something to let go further”The askfirmations are great better than normal affirmations because the subconscious mind has to answer those questions/prove them so there is less resistance. It is like turning a big cargo ship around so persistence is key. All the best.

  • "...if you want to meet the love of your life, you need to have a kind and gentle heart." The message that I personally take away from the video is that is is hard to be a racist if you talk with the people that are the object of your hate. This was expounded by SI Hayakawa in his book, Language in Thought and Action. This was a great story that plays out like Groundhog Day. Interestingly, this movie is having its 30 year anniversary and it is one of my favorite movies. This marvelous episode made it on to two of my playlists. • The Big Picture! Metaphorically, the old man died. He became a new creature in Christ. It took going through loops for him to realize what needed to be done. Forgive and love (Jesus's new commandment)... Don't get hung up on stereotypes. Loving one another is just that simple, even as simple as loosing life by a scooter. The death didn't have to come by horrific means to make a point. We sometimes need to realize our human frailty and grab hold to God's powerful love.
