  • Starting to notice - Sarah is realistic and uses examples from other developments and local research to illustrate her points. The point is many male clients don't like to take advise from women.

  • Nice to watch someone like Sarah who deals in reality and not fantasy and pipe dreams, even though no one listens to her. Mark the Twit would have been better to build nice, but basic, affordable flats with a much wider range of buyers and sell them quickly instead of "luxury" ones in an area that doesn't really look luxurious. Tearing down that side building was insanity.

  • Mark and Kate were plagued with bad luck. Yes, they could have been spared delays over the shared wall and the gas line had they opted not to knock down the building, but it could have gone the other way too. I think the takeaway is not to gamble with someone else's money. If it's your own money, you're going to work your butt off to succeed.

  • Karma is a real bitch isn't it?! LMAO Dude's ego went all the way up to the heavens after purchasing a property, even God couldn't tell him to wipe a stain off his goggles. He was quick to reject any and all the suggestions Sarah gave them. And see what happened?! ***Spoiler Alert*** A project that was supposed to last a couple months, ended up taking 2+ years (and they gave up at the end aka went completely broke) because he thought he knew it all, and made a fool out of himself at every single curveball. Oh the shame of it all!!! And the ultimate loser award goes to...tada LMAO My heart goes out to his wife cause at least she seemed like she had a good head on her shoulders. His biggest downfall was by refusing to hire the professional project managers. He thought 3000 pounds/month to project manage their shoeboxes of apartment was too much. Well please tell us how much money you lost and how far deep in debt are you now sir?! Sheesh

  • 15,000£ for ‘four luxury kitchens and bathrooms’ ?!?!!!!!? Do they define ‘luxury’ only as a word? Will they have it scrawled across the room like those who hang ‘believe’ on theirs? +++ Update: at around the 38 minute mark, I learned the difference betwixt what this country defines as ‘luxury’ is a far cry from here in southern Ontario. It’s bog standard to have a box of a room dressed solely in Sheetrock - no way is that luxury. I’m glad I am not scheduled to move there any time in my future! **** alright, rant over. I’m going out for a gorgeous autumn evening walk. Bye!

  • They keep using the word "luxury" but I saw nothing remotely luxurious...I have been watching Sarah's other show, Double The House for Half The Money (or something along those words), and those amateur home owners building extensions to their existing homes have sometimes done truly amazing things with truly luxurious results with sometimes stunningly small budgets. These apartment conversions were nothing that I'd view as anything close to luxurious....
