@@bradslice in box u have user guide open it and go to -> Electrical Parameters, there is all info about micro/encoder/sensor etc

just omron doesnt tell us a lot, omron has many different switches, doesnt have to be bad. i do prefer huano's myself.@@xChase3800x
great review dude, quality is great, this mouse looks interesting it could be possibly be replacing my GPX.
i cant believe this thing is real lol. would love to see comparisons of latency to the DAV3 (4k hz) and any other chinese mice (1k hz) that you own, if u have the equipment to test latency. Also interested to see the effect of the slam click prevention setting on latency and performance.
I will check for latency with reflex latency analyzer. I may compile a number of mice into my results but I don’t have access to Ldat or xlat yet.

Got ya subbed brother. Great info on a what i would call a budget Viper Mini SE for the price. But mannn....its got a lot of air in that shell. That can be good and bad depending. Keep up tha good stuff man. Cheers 🥂🥂🥂
I will have to compare to the viper series as well as the starlight series in terms of shape since people say it looks like those mice. I have all of them on hand so I will include that comparison in the final review.
Mice aren’t generally airtight
i like the WL dongle box. how would this compare with a final mouse ultralight? I dont buy mice and keyboards much ive had my Logitech G Pro Wireless for years and years now. but its getting a bit tired.
If you told me that I had to use this mouse instead of my starlight I wouldn’t complain. Full review and comparison next week
i mean the ulx will easily be better, especially being on the fourth batch you shouldn’t have any issues with ur batch

I saw the same thing happen to optimum tech except it sounds like he didn’t read the manual to learn how to re-pair the mouse. It certainly is a product with its quirks.

I bought it and its rly nice. No QC issues, rly nice switches and it feels like a quality mouse. The ULX is taking to long and I've lost trust in them after their 5 or so delays, so its a nice relpacement!
Honestly I am on the same line of thinking. I am still very interested in the Ultralight X but Finalmouse always take so long to deliver on their promises.

I stumbled upon this mouse but when looking at the spec, it lacked the Bluetooth connectivity I wanted. So I went with Dareu A950 Pro magnesium. Slightly heavier at around 54g but still very good for me. Using it for both work and gaming

Dareu are not that great because of MCU. It really bad with higher polling rates, it's worse then competetors

how do the clicks feel are they spamable/light or more on the stiffer side?

I don’t plan on doing any xlat testing before the new year since I’m not too keen on soldering and unsoldering all my switches. If I find a way to do it with clamps I might invest in xlat. I am going do some basic testing using reflex latency analyzer but for xlat numbers you’ll have to look elsewhere.
How long did it take to ship to the us? I was thinking of picking one up, but I didn’t know if it was a scam ngl
I ordered mine on October 26th and it took 13 days to arrive. For shipping from China this was a lot sooner than I was expecting.

How'd you get the pink and white colorway? I only see the pink/blue colorway on the site.

How would you say the size and feel compares to the g pro x ?
Smaller, lower hump. 60grams on the GPX is 150% of the weight of 40grams on the beast x so substantially lighter.

Comparing to the size of the medium, I will compare to a small as well as a few others in the final video.

I don’t think getting a Finalmouse is impossible if you are only looking to buy one mouse buy the one you really want. But if you’re looking to save money/ get the mouse sooner then the Beast X mouse is definitely a good option. I wouldn’t regret getting this in place of a ultralight X.

There were no skates on my mouse when I took it out of the box so nothing to take off

Why did you weigh the finalmouse with all the attachments on?
Because mine has the attachments on and the weight of a starlight medium is a documented fact at this point. 50 grams for a medium starlight vs 40 grams on the beast x.

Will I have a trouble programming the mouse on a Mac? Software is Windows only?
I am having issues downloading the software on my Mac, I will do some digging before my full review. The mouse does work with the wireless dongle on the Mac but mine is already programmed from windows.
Got it@@bradslice ! So Windows first would be ideal. How're the clicks by the way? I know you mentioned they felt hollow. Are they soft to press?
@SICKOx I think the clicks SOUND a bit hollow, might just be some reverb through the mouse frame I’ll have better recordings of the clicks soon. I think the main mouse buttons are light and spammable. No issues or concerns here. I will have to see how they are once they are broken in over the next couple weeks.

I can’t find any information on what switches are used in this mouse? They don’t even list them in the specs for the mouse on their website.
All I can tell you without taking the mouse apart is that the switches feel very light with a small hollow sound at the end (I think because of the magnesium shell), they appear in a black casing with a grey switch at the top.
They're omron switches with a Nordic 52840 MCU. Pretty standard for 4khz mice these days.

Hold the left and right mouse buttons as well as the front side button and then the mouse will connect

Does it have a connection strength read out like the Final Mouse ULX?
Not that I recall but if it did exist in the software it would have been added in an update. It kinda stinks having to open mouse specific software all the time though so I am not sure I would ever see the readout anyways.
@@bradslice I like having settings per game like some companies do but it seems everyone else is going towards web based.
@@dustinmihalcheon5013 I would prefer it all lives on the mouse so that I don't have to have more software running. But just curious, what settings do you have change on your mouse depending on the game?
@@bradslice Nothing much anymore but there was a time I’d swap dpi between games. Slower games with holding angles I’d have 800 and faster tracking games I’d have 1600.
i think theres a mouse combination to change the dpi without the software i believe i forgot
I wish there was buttons on the dongle for dpi and polling rate since they have those listed on the screen.

I have a Tenz and last legend. Was gonna get the ULX but this is practically the same weight and almost identical specs sensor wise so might opt for this and get the large ULX in December
Looks interesting i might pick one up. I was debating on picking up a Finalmouse. If this looks good i might honestly save the extra $50. but can't wait to see a Review for these!
Check back in a couple weeks for this one, I feel like the ultralight X is still going to be the better mouse, but $50 is $50 right?!

How’d you get it in pink and grey
It’s just pink, apparently not a lot of people bought it so the color was swapped for pink and blue
was thinking about this during July but ULX was on the line, and after watching few bilibili review video on this, I had to pass it. after the pwnage SB lesson, I will never buy something thats not backed up by solid innovation that easily.
I originally waited a few days before ordering mine, but decided that this was one of the reasons I got into mouse reviews so it was time to spend the money to find out if it was real.
I waited months for my SB, and bought the new Nacho one for the wife; it will be here soon. I believe they've learned their lesson, and we won't be plagued with shitty shipping anymore.

And to not collect gunk you need to scrup them hands all the time, its dead skin. And you sweet and have moist hands :P. No I wont buy a mouse with holes in it for alot of reasons.
I’ve owned mice with holes in them for years and have never had an issue. I wash my hands and I don’t eat many snacks at my desk and I think that is the largest factor when it comes to how dirty my mice get.

It looks like the pink and blue is a limited time colorway where they replace the plastic with blue and the magnesium shell is still pink. I think the all pink will come back eventually since the only change is the blue plastic base.

Is the mouse coated? Rubber coating?
I don’t think this mouse has a rubber coating but I am not familiar with what a rubber coating feels like on a mouse. Grip has not been a problem so far and it feels similar to a stock starlight 12 as far as texture.
no, but yesterday they released a new colour (called pink&blue) which has a rubberised coating. but currently all other colours are not coated

It is typically for weight reduction, most people would prefer to have no holes, but the lightest mice normally have holes.
I'm sorry but that thing doesn't look similar it looks exactly like the finalmouse you compared it with. Bit of a copy pasta shape going on here I think
It’s the same shape, I can switch between them and the shape feels the same. I prefer the texture on the ULX due to it not being magnesium
I'll be completely honest. Downloading a driver from a manufacturer that I've NEVER heard of is a bit dicey - the driver goes "deep" into your system once you click "okay." It's 2023. Really? That's nearly a nO gO 4 me already.
I get it, but whats the alternative, a driverless cube? I think the issue for me is that the instructions say to disable your antivirus to install the driver... which I did not do and the install worked just fine.
A Chinese company forcing a driver install before a mouse works? Bruh.
