He probably meant, either, "do you have a ghost writer" or "do you type up your diary instead of handwriting". When he stated "I think that's most important" I tend to think he was meaning it's important to handwrite a diary yourself as it's more personal and thought-provoking as you write.

She had a good sense of humor. My father literally bumped into her on a beach on an island on the west of Scotland. She was in wellies and her headscarf. Not in the least put out, they chatted for a bit. Only as she was walking away did my father realise.

Me too, it felt very strange. I was also very emotional when Prince Philip died. To get philosophical for a moment, is it because I lost my own grandparents early? My grandfathers I never knew, both grandmothers gone by the time I was 12. Maybe I mentally 'adopted' the Queen & Prince Philip instead.

There has never been a day in my life where The Queen was not around. And now that she’s gone, for some reason, it feels almost empty. I know many people have their different views on her, some good, and some bad. But you have to admit, that being the reigning monarch for 70 years, not many of us lived a day without her as Queen. Until now. And it ultimately just feels strange. She really started deteriorating after Prince Philip passed, and I just hope that wherever she is now, that she is with him again. I’ll really miss her sassiness and humour!

I ultimately think that when you lose your life partner, you lose a part of yourself. So to Her Majesty, I truly think she was holding on to each day to the best of her abilities. I find it a bit poetic that she can now go be with him and smile together wherever she may be. She is now whole again.

I remember there’s a chef who used to cook for the royals (he’s on youtube now) and he shared a story of when he first met the queen in person. She was walking her corgi’s while he was out taking a stroll, and the corgi’s came running after him like they were going to attack him, and he screamed and ran away. He heard the queen laughing at him as he did. She certainly has a sense of humour

He tells it brilliantly on his youtube channel. Slapstick comedy style. Being chased is rightfully scarey to terrifying by a pack of dogs. Being the owner and seeing it? Cracking up laughing at a grown man hightailing it away from a bunch of furballs nipping at your heels giving chase would be funny if you knew they wont eat him alive. He forgave them and has a couple of stuffed corgi dogs as souvenirs on his show. He said he went out for a smoke break and they accidently met up. Nice fellow. Even the Queen remembered it and was still laughing over it.

I've never seen it but I have seen an accent expert video on it and there were quite a lot of differences. For example, it was toned down quite a lot. The Queen's accent is actually much stronger but for public appearances, she does pronounce things more modern.

I think she must have been very serious when she first became Queen, following her duty to her country and keeping with traditions. But being married to Phillip, meeting/befriending Jackie Kennedy and age has made her more relaxed.

A truly historical great woman from the Greatest Generation that lived through WW 2 and the Great Depression. I wept watching the old newsreel of her becoming Queen at such a young age and her speech saying she would serve the Commonwealth whether her life was long or short. We should all be grateful her life was long and well lived. I'm sure millions around the world wept for her.

Prince phillip was also way more down to earth than the queen. He did come from a royal family but i am fairly certain they were practically destitute so he did not grow up in the same luxurious environment like the queen. He HATED formalities and the royal protocols. He never understood why people made such a big deal of things. And he was so down to earth that he even used to pour drinks for his workers close with him and regulary engaged with conversation with them about even sensitive topics

I really do believe that she endured 70 years of service because she loved to meet people, see the commonwealth, experience diversity of culture and to be the beacon that we all needed her to be. In some ways we should be grateful for the abdication of Edward VIII, otherwise provenance might have passed her by and it would have been an enormous loss. Rest in peace ma'am, and thank you

One of her Protection Officers, Richard Griffin, was with her when two American tourists saw this old lady wearing a scarf, and asked HM if she had ever met the Queen. She just replied ‘well, I haven’t, but Dickie here meets her regularly’. They asked the Queen to take a photo of them with "Dickie" which she did, then he took one of them with her, still not telling them who she was. When they had gone, she turned to him and said she would love to be a fly on the wall when they showed people the photos back in the US, and someone pointed out she was the Queen. Pure class

There has never been a day in my life where The Queen was not around. And now that she’s gone, for some reason, it feels almost empty. I know many people have their different views on her, some good, and some bad. But you have to admit, that being the reigning monarch for 70 years, not many of us lived a day without her as Queen. Until now. And it ultimately just feels strange. She really started deteriorating after Prince Philip passed, and I just hope that wherever she is now, that she is with him again. I’ll really miss her sassiness and humour!
I ultimately think that when you lose your life partner, you lose a part of yourself. So to Her Majesty, I truly think she was holding on to each day to the best of her abilities. I find it a bit poetic that she can now go be with him and smile together wherever she may be. She is now whole again.
I can absolutely echo your feeling of emptiness. I don’t even live in UK but am so used to seeing her around on media my whole entire life and never thought she would be gone one day… Now that she is, it feels so unreal. Truly miss her kind and beautiful soul especially her sassy sense of humour

Prince phillip was also way more down to earth than the queen. He did come from a royal family but i am fairly certain they were practically destitute so he did not grow up in the same luxurious environment like the queen. He HATED formalities and the royal protocols. He never understood why people made such a big deal of things. And he was so down to earth that he even used to pour drinks for his workers close with him and regulary engaged with conversation with them about even sensitive topics

She reminds me very much of my own Nona (grandma), who also passed on this year in her nineties. Here’s to both of them; two lovely ladies that will be greatly missed, but who have gone on to a better place after touching many lives for the better here on Earth.

She's hilarious. My favorite story is one where she was attending a garden luncheon with a group of women. A young woman's mobile began to ring. The young woman was frantic with embarrassment. Her Majesty said something to her like, "You'd better answer that, dear. It might be someone important."
She has an amazing sense of humour. One of her Protection Officers, Richard Griffin, was with her when two American tourists saw this old lady wearing a scarf, and asked HM if she had ever met the Queen. She just replied ‘well, I haven’t, but Dickie here meets her regularly’. They asked the Queen to take a photo of them with "Dickie" which she did, then he took one of them with her, still not telling them who she was. When they had gone, she turned to him and said she would love to be a fly on the wall when they showed people the photos back in the US, and someone pointed out she was the Queen. Pure class
