I am definitely not a fan of Sean Rash, but he did have a point when the tracker light on the lane shut off right before his 10 pin miss. Not even the best bowlers can get through that kind of distraction. If you watch the shot, the tracker on the lane shuts off right before his release. It wasn’t the scoreboard.

Sean Rash, game 2, 9th frame. Rash is a truly outstanding player but I was saying to myself "this is probably where Rash gets a little over-amped and throws one too fast for a 2-8-10". I was wrong. He went wide right completely to leave a washout. This guy is a really great bowler but has often done this in big moments. Reminds me of Marshall Kent, who also throws a fantastic ball but does not have a mental game to match. They can both learn from Chris Prather, who just seems to get more and more locked in when the big moments come.

I would think that a resin bowling ball would destroy a pattern much quicker since it absorbs the oil. where a urethane ball just pushes the oil.
@thomastaylor65112 жыл бұрын
But that's the problem, it pushes it moving it from the front to the back and then you deal with dry front and wet back where you want the ball to hook and it can't because of the oil.
@bosoares2 жыл бұрын
@@bosoares I no that but a resin ball drinks it up faster then a urethane ball pushes it.i no I tested it in one game of throw a resin ball the tract of the ball was nearly dry. Where a urethane ball had pushed a 40 ft flat pattern down to where the tract oil was 48 ft.

That’s just the realities of bowling. I bowl with a lot of friends that don’t bowl much, but when the beat me 1 game where I bowl like 40 pins under my ave and they get like their 2nd or 3rd 200 game ever. I’m just like, we’ll see how the series turns out and I end up having 200-300 higher series. I like the 2 game format more than the 1 game. Gives the actually better bowler a chance to win, but sometimes it’s just not their day. That’s why they compete.
