Anakin skywalker was on the verge of turning to the dark side. when Emperor Palpatine executed order 66 essentially meant to wipe out the Jedi. The clone troopers that originally fought with the Jedi in the clone wars were ordered to wipe out any Jedi at their designated outpost. Anikan also killed all the young kids that were in training at the Jedi temple. So saying the Jedi lie dead and the sith grow roots references how the sith started their empire.

My favorite thing about the red-blue symbolism is that they bring in the green paint and it starts turning them all green. This is to symbolize that people are being converted to the Libertarian party (which uses green as their color representation).
