Mariners from across the industry compete in line-handling and line-throwing skills, testing their endurance, excellence, and safety. The 2019 Northern Regional Qualifier of the Maritime Throwdown was at IMX2019 in St. Louis, Missouri.

    • Yes, look up Maritime THROWDOWN on any social media. This specific competition was a qualifier, with that being said, mtd was in search of the best. The finals will be on the 26th !! Very much a different level

  • Nah this should serious be a sport I’ve thrown many lines in my lifetime and it definitely is a work out especially if you miss and the line gets wet 😂😂😂😂 a 10lb throw becomes a 30lb line

  • That last line dude caught pretty sketch doing a high low to Timbers Been on the river awhile pushing red flags gotta be honest rarely do this impress me a good deckhand would hit 90 percent of this stuff now those guys rolling from buttons to timber head to the horns they’re doing something those guys throwing single parts 17 20 feet always hittin
