"Now THAT's what I call a colored man!" Ah, the 70s.....
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love it
Timeless
Omg that was hilarious…🤣…I love the sense of humour in this series..the writers did a great job…👍🏽😆
🤣🤣😭🤣👏🏾
The emotion David shows when he’s about to transform says it all. Bill Bixby was a class act and put it all into it.
Hissing and grunting
Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno made this show the best.
To me it's He's not scary, he's just scared...
I dunno, it looked to me like he really didn't wanna be crushed to death by a car 🤷🏽♂
@@markfroman738 To me, the only time a person hisses and grunts is when they're constipated. 😆😆😆😆😆😆
I just love how Hulk can be so gentle with kids cause he has a childlike mind.
And he is still David.
Yes Lou always knew as the Hulk at how to show just the right emotion that each episode called for. Now that's what you call a good actor, being able to show and express just the right emotion without speaking. All the hats off to Kenneth johnson for knowing just the right man to pick to protray the Hulk, perfect choice!!!
@@yuljohnson2467 your so right!! Lou broke character here with the baby..so priceless and the baby was soo adorable
@@choccakey5146 Yes she was, that scene between her and the Hulk is very emotional!!!
@@yuljohnson2467 I kno!!
Lou Ferrigno is one of the most underrated TV actors ever. Think anyone else could have pulled off the Hulk cracking a smile - and make it so believable you hardly notice?
RIP Bill Bixby
Así es Lou ferrigno fue un actor muy subestimado en su época de joven como en esta serie de Hulk aquí en esta serie el actor tenía 28 años de edad en 1980
He's awesome
Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno were really the heart and soul of this show together.
I was a little kid in the 70s. I think these shows were such great teachers about kindness and having empathy,. David was always such a decent man. Even through the terrible circumstances he never lost his compassion or his way of approaching situations with his intellect and reason.
Very well said.. He was a great role model to be like in life..
Lou's body language and facial expressions were flawless in that scene with the baby.
He definitely broke character here!! How priceless! The baby is so adorable too
TV Hulk always knew not to hurt the helpless and the innocent. His interest in the small child (and smile) also showed a child-like innocence in the Hulk's personality as well. I think most viewers found this appealing. He wasn't just this raging monster that had no soul.
Ya I forgot where I read it but somehow the hulk always knew what to do .weather it stop someone robbing a bank or toss around a few bad guys . Something about banners sub conscience
Facts 💯 Bob!!👍
Ikr. He's scary but he's adorable at the same time.
@@knight2976able it's like what Elaina Marks told David in the pilot episode: "the Hulk is an extension of your personality. David won't kill, therefore the Hulk won't kill".
I feel like Lou broke character when he started smiling at the baby. Very child like innocence.
David Banner (Bruce in the comics) always had this drive and strong determination to help people and to make a positive difference in people's lives, that he cared so much about other people, often got him at risk of becoming the Hulk. Tho, not how he wanted to save people, the Hulk always saved the day.
Well said.. I loved how David never changed who he was a person, with all the shit he had to endure during the series.. There was just someone new he tried to help the best way he could with compassion, encouragement and intelligence..
One of my favorite Hulk outs. I love how despite his raging fury he has a soft spot for kids and that heart warming smile.
Priceless!! Lou definitely broke character and that baby is so adorable
@@choccakey5146 He didn't really break character, Hulk never hurt anyone(just bumps and bruises) and he could never go aggro on the defenseless
Bobby reminds me of Michael Jackson as a young boy apart of the Jackson 5.
i thought that too🥲
Yeah its funny you said that because lou ferrigno was Michael Jackson personal trainer
@@jasonkenner2985 oh wow, I didn’t know that either lol
@@jorjorsquadron304 lol yeah Michael Jackson and lou ferrigno were good friends
Yes That's True 👍 😄 😌 😀 😊 ☺!Absolutely!LouFerrigno Was Michael Jackson Personal Trainer!As!A!BODYBUILDER!And!A Friend !
Is That Ernie Hudson With A Bald Head? Ghostbusters.😂😂
Ernie hudson played an excellent heavy on this episode, the exact same savegery of David's other adversaries on other episodes. Love how his brutal roughing up of David dramatically led to the Hulk. Sweet moment between the Hulk and the little girl along with Joe's classic score perfectly underlining this moment!
I never knew that was Hudson.
@@jrewing1512 Yep,that bald head and how thin he was then was always in sharp contrast to the Ernie hudson from Ghostbusters and today.
@@yuljohnson2467 Don't forget He was Warden Leo Glynn on Oz.
@@jrewing1512 Ive heard of that show, never seen it but like all of his roles i know Ernie did a good job.
04:00 “Man, now that’s what I call a colored man.” LOL!
I don't just love this show, David Banner is probably one of my favourite characters of fiction ever!
Poor David he always gets assaulted when he's just trying to help.
Every cloud has a silver lining, in this case a green one..
Ikr. For someone who's supposed to be keeping a low profile, he always gets into trouble. He gets punched and someone's always trying to kill him.
That's When!He!Turns Into The Hulk!
@@jeanbaumgartner4052 So true. He considers being the Hulk a curse, but it's gotten him out of trouble.
Sometimes his troubles are the product of his own misgivings - in his condition you just would not settle in a predominantly black neighbourhood and expect noone to give you any trouble.. In this case all he needed to do was tell them Bobby needs Mike and would've likely avoided this situation
Bill bixby was the best banner theres ever been such heart and humanity ❤️
Bill Bixby was the best actor who ever played Dr. Banner.👍
I agree
Agree
3:26 god I just love how the childlike innocence of a baby, toddler, or a child can bring peace and love to your soul. It literally gets me every time 🥺💗
Lou Wuz Always Good When He Had Scenes With Small Animals & Small Children(IMPO)!
True. The baby girl was adorable!
And how to she smiled back at him; PRICELESS!❤️❤️
IKR
That baby was so adorable!!
The Hulk's power lies with his STRENGTH. David's power lies with his MIND. Both of their powers were in full display.
I hope Bobby feels better!
He give him an orange. I'm no diabetic but I think you need something like a candy bar to help bring your sugar level up.
@@timdaugherty4014: Or a cola.
@@Coryraisa That too.
@@timdaugherty4014 Oranges do bring your sugar level back up.
@@thenextbigthing7692 You know what, I'm not going to challenge you on that. Like I said I'm not a doctor or diabetic but if you say so...
The guy that kicked Bill Bixby’s ass is the legend himself Ernie Hudson!!!!
And also the legend Tony Burton who plays Duke in the Rockies series
Who knew that Winston Zeddemore turned to a life of crime before becoming a Ghostbuster glad that he turned his life around.
Still love the second hulk out with the panther cowering in the corner and the bathroom sink flying through the door.
The music when David is under the car- had some soul n jazz to it... well played
How can you not love Bixby and Ferrigno!! Forever my favorite hero.
Ernie Hudson is awesome!
This is actually one of the few cases where the Hulk doesn’t actually throw anyone, and it’s also one of the rare moments where David himself saves a life. That was actually the most interesting thing in this clip, cause I don’t think I’ve seen him actually be able to do it as himself!
We know that's Tony Burton who plays Duke in the Rocky series right???
Bill Bixby was such a great actor at doing David! Rest In Peace Bill
I had a crush on David.
I never knew Michael Jackson was on the hulk. Love him. Rip
He wasn't. I think the little boy was Gary Coleman.
Lol he did look and sound like Mike tho
The little boy was Dale Pullum.
@@Coryraisa No the little boy is not Gary Coleman or Michael Jackson
@@lookingforahookup: I knew it was not Michael Jackson...and yeh, looking closely, it isn't Gary either.
One of the best episodes- there were some famous brothas in this one man.. ernie Hudson with no hair and tony burton from rocky... these shows had no problem with attacking every phase of life... at the end of the day, banner was just like the brothas at the car wash- tryin to make ends meet- and they treated banner like he treated them- more people need to see these ol school joints, learn some life lessons
Damn! David was a hell of a guy and I can't help but love how nicely Mr. Bixby pulled it off 😊
Bobby looks like a young Michael Jackson.
The Hulk really busted that car!
@kirkrules66 I know! I remember his first hulk-out in the pilot episode when he wrecked his own car, causing it to blow up! No car is safe when he's around!
You would think that forcibly tearing out an engine like that would be messier than what was pictured. You would think that the engine would be spurting oil, coolant and all kinds of other fluids from all of the severed connections. Of course, it would be messy to have Lou covered in oil and other fluids during his hulk out.
@@glennszydlowski5987 How does he take the hood off first before taking out the engine?
I remember reading a Hulk novel once where some guy honked his horn at the Hulk blocking traffic and Hulk slammed his fists on the hood, breaking the front axle and the motor mounts so the engine dropped onto the pavement.
@@williamshaw9047 I never noticed it before but you are right. The hood pops up and off to the side as it it was pulled off (which was probably the case) rather than going straight up. It would have been more impressive if you started to see the hood dent upwards, the bulge getting bigger and bigger until the Hulk emerged holding the engine. You would also think that the Hulk tearing the engine forcibly from the car would make more noise as he broke the mounts and all the connections with his strength.
One of the best episodes of the shows five year run.
Wow, Ernie Hudson was in this episode.
Yes He Wuz Bruh!
Tony Burton Frum Rocky Wuz N Dis Particular Episode As Well!
Thats why the Hulk is and will always be a hero, regardless of how monstruous he may be...
Did anyone notice that when David goes through the car wash, he's soak and wet, but when the Hulk emerges from under that car, he's bone dry?
They did that so Lou’s makeup wouldn’t rub off, since the scene didn’t require him to be in water as the hulk
IKR! I Believe Dats What Dey Call Da Magic Of📺Broham!
Bill and Lou play their roles perfectly in their characters. To bad the series could have gone 10 years. But at least we got almost 5 seasons.
I can't believe how different Ernie Hudson from Ghostbusters looks in this episode! I never would've recognized him!
He is so young and makes a good toughie.
Karl What are you talking about Ernie Hudson doesn’t look different than from Ghostbusters. He looks the same
I think he meant it's the fact Winston's bald, clean shaven 🪒, dressed like he's Gozer's pimp and could pass as Michael Clarke Duncan's slim brother.
@@ai6894 LMAO!
Always loved Ernie Hudson in this episode.
Me Too Bruh!
Groovy Music. I grew up in the 70s . 😉
I own the entire DVD set of the Incredible Hulk, One of the best in my collection.
I love how the Hulk love Babies
One of my favorite hulkouts! He rosed up with an engine over his head and then throws it just missing Ernie! Classic. 2:37
Ernie should have ran with the other 2 at the same time just to avoid getting hurt.
Now that's what I call a color man
Cute but nobody would truly lose control of a baby in a stroller like that.
One of my favorite Hulkouts. Who you gonna call??!! Definitely not Winston. One of Ernie Hudson's first roles before shooting too stardom in Ghostbusters.
💚💚💚 my favorite episode is when when the incredible hulk saved a little girl I think that was really nice and cute 😅😅
U had to laugh when Taylor George saw his clean Cadilac. Called it the sushine of his life. Then the Hulk tore the engine off and threw it at him! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nobody notices 🧐that the goon is Eddie Hudson from the Ghostbusters 🧐🧐
cute baby ❤️🥰
David was always such a good doctor 😎
David was such a genuinely good human being without being sappy or anything. Wish he had been able to get a much better ending than what he got at the end of the "Death of the Incredible Hulk".
But he ended up getting beat up, getting his ass kicked in every town he went to. I know he was always working low class jobs, but I don't see fights at the car wash on a daily basis.
@@John-ct9zs The old saying Nice guys finish last . He was against fighting and he had to control his anger, so he ultimately was made an easy target to beat up..
Funny how Ernie Hudson played bad guy roles until he started growing his hair. Even if he played bad guy roles (presently) the characters he portrayed had some morals.
Well there was the principal in “The Substitute” and that episode of “Tales From The Crypt” where he was evil and had hair.
This was one of my favorite hulk episodes.
I think it's interesting that The Hulk always knew when to run away as soon as he hears police sirens
Like he said.... 'now that's a colored man'
HULK LIKE BABIES!
Superman and Spider-Man ain't got nothing on him I love The Incredible Hulk lean green fighting machine damn 🤬👊
My favourite scene so far. Love Lou Ferrigno. Good man and good actor.
Hulks a great great person he only does that if he gets tortured or abused that’s the time when he turns green and destroys them to save lives he only beats them up when they make him angry everything he did all succeeded way to go he’s the man!
Tony Burton!
"That's what I call a colored man!" Oh shit, that's funny. Lou was in fair shape here, but not all that sharp. You can tell it was later in the season and he couldn't train like he would for a contest.
Fantastic.bellissimo.r.i.p Bill bixby
4:02 The Hulk needs a sports bra.
Just ordered the box set series collection and i will be watching hulk all day.🤙

I love it when they show him also being so nice and gentle, instead of just pure rage and anger!
Was that Ernie Hudson who starred for the Ghostbusters films?
Yes
Cue the "car wash" song. Lol
That was beautiful!
No child deserves to be diabetic. Also It’s nice to see that the hulk has a soft spot for babies.
Maybe it's because Lou has a daughter irl
No child deserves to be a future wage slave.
Hey Hey Hey. The man needs to cool off.lol
4:05 This scene should have been sponsored by Green Giant...or any sweet company that makes candy, boxes of bonbons...or maybe those yummy soda companies; Giggle!! Besides Dr. Banner; Bobby could also have been saved by Kraft, as well;😋Mmmmmm.😋
Looks like a real engine thrown to me......"Man, now that's what i calk a colored man!"
Great hulk out scene. 👍🏿. The Untouchables movie stole this scene from this episode except that stroller was going down stairs of train station with gun fire. 😂😂👍🏿

Tony Burton, who was in the Rocky movies, plays Taylor George.
He was in all of the Rocky movies.
@kirkrules66 he was in that too, but briefly in the beginning of the movie.

The Hulk treated that cast iron block like a toy.
