I got an idea... Not sure if anyone already said it here in the comments... We can colour the pins with the Posca paint markers and then use a topcoat or maybe a glitter top coat so that the paint would stay... Maybe!❤️

Next time you should do a paint-sealing glaze like mod podge over the staples after drawing on the staples with poscas 😊

You can try putting thin layer of top coat and try. It might work as the top coat is a barrier and it won’t chip.

Try putting clear nail polish on the top of the paint pens so it doesn't chip

You could apply the posca pen first and the nail polish after! Layering could look cool and perhaps it would stick better

The Posca pens chip because its just a thin layer of paint you need to wait for them to dry and then spray lacquer on it to protect the paint then it wont chip off

Maybe, try sanding the staple before applying? That usually helps the posca to adhere :)
