Here is how to install Windows 11 in VirtualBox! Since this is 2023, it uses VirtualBox 7 and the latest version of Windows 11! VirtualBox can be installed on Windows and Mac hosts, as well as other operating systems. A virtual machine is an easy way to run another computer in the comfort of an application window! This tutorial is completely free!!

Yeah, it didn't work for me months ago, so I got interested again as an ethical hacker. Thanks. I'll try this tomorrow. :3 Windows 11 is great for energy efficiency mode. I've done 50 or so browser tabs with less than 3 GB of RAM used on a 4 GB lappy. My latest lappy is 12 GB DDR5 RAM, which is the equivalent to 16 GB DDR4 RAM, but faster, and far less energy used. :3

When I load the VM, It shows a blue windows loading screen for a few minutes the it would pop up an error called the "Guru Meditation." I also tried to decrease the Ram/Memory the VM has but that did nothing. Please let me know if someone knows how to fix this.

hi, do you need to fill in the product key when installing win11 in virtualbox steps?
When I did not enter the product key, I got an error that the product key could not be found and therefore Windows 11 could not be started. To fix this, you can first select Windows 10 without an installation file when creating a new virtual machine and finish this first. Then you can select an iso file when you start this virtual machine and you can select the Windows 11 iso file and continue later without a product key. I hope I could help everyone with this problem! :)
sadly, for me it only says the "no bootable option or device was found" and the other message below but without the dialogue, since i accidently clicked "Do not show this dialog again" and now it does not give me the option to load the .iso as a dvd and mount it.... Does any1 know how to re-enable that setting?
I followed the same steps, but even I selected the iso file when DVD error popped up, retry boot couple times, still showing the same DVD error. I’m using MacBook intel.

Hi. On my installation of the Guest Additions suddenly goes black screen, then plays a windows sound effect, I press any key then goes to Restart and gets stuck on the booting screen. Any suggestions? PS: The rest works perfectly if I don't do additions, just my screen cannot be enlarge. Thank you
It happend to me as well
There are 3 variations of the guest addition packages, I ran into the same problem ,delete the vn and restart the entire process .when u reach at the stage of installing guest additions choose a different one till u see the system responding as expected, eg use an amd64 guest addition if your ISO image was also an amd x64 version
If you have the problem with the black screen -> stop the VM -> go to Settings -> Displays -> select VMSVGA under Graphics controller -> uncheck 3D acceleration -> restart and it should work.

Hi, i tried to install w11 on macbook air m2, but doesnt work. should i download another version of VB?
Virtualbox currently doesn't have version for Apple Silicon macs. They did have a beta out for people to download but it looks like that is no longer available. Not sure why they did that, but hopefully they will come out with a version in the future! A good alternative to use would be Parallels but it a paid software.

where do I insert the iso file? I can’t do it the way you do it cause you get an error with the possibility to upload the file to the error but I just get the error w no other possibilities, where is the iso file supposed to go? that way I can just put it there before I get the error
Just push enter after you click mount and reboot

Hello, I have a problem starting Windows. I followed everything exactly as you explained it in the video. When starting, the blue screen comes: We'll restart for you. When I have restarted, the picture will come back. What can I do about it? Although I still have a MacBook Pro Mid 2012, this should not really be a problem.

How do you leave from the windows 11 screen?
You can shut it down like you would a windows pc or you can just close out of the window. Think of this like any other application on your computer.

Does it see usb drives after installation?
Yes. You will need to make sure the extension pack is installed (you can get it from VB website) and then you can go to devices in the menu bar and then select your usb

I have the same problem. When I have to install the extension the system goes in blackout and I cannot open the VM again.
Same thing happened to me. I tried installing it again, but the same situation happened. It never came back. How can I solve it? Thanks@@BenjaminsTech
Exactly the same problem on my iMac. Screen goes black after installing extensions. Left it for a couple of hours but still black.
