  • Donkeys are absolutely no joke. I had three tours in Afghanistan and on my first one our camp and supplies were constantly getting ravaged through by all kinds of animals. So one day we bought this old donkey from this local farmer and just feed it twice a day and then let it roam around the camp all night and day, and I kid you not after just 1 week this thing killed so many wild animals who tried to get into our camp as usuall. We loved this guy! Then on my second tour I returned to the exact same camp and the donkey wasnt there anymore. I asked about it and it seemes like one of the higher ups didnt like the idea a donkey constantly roaming around the camp so they had to give it back to the farmer we got it from, but on the way back it stepped on a IED and exploded, so sad...

When she let go she bit me on the leg if it hadn't been for the dogs trying to help me I think she might have killed me. I ended up having an operation on my leg to get rid of the fluid. My leg is still bulging out where she bit me. This attack happened because I wanted her to go down the field and she didn't want to go. She died 3years later the 2 donkeys I have now do not bite but one is a kicker and can kick forward backwards and from the side. I have to be very careful around her. The other is a little darling I got him from the donkey rescue in Andalucia Spain. Donkeys are very intelligent and know every word you say. • Actually, a wagging tail on a dog can indicate nervous excitement, dominance, tenseness, and even aggression depending on how it wags and what the rest of the body language is telling you. Horses also wag and swish their tails in annoyance. Same with cats, although their tails are more nuanced and can say different things depending on how it's moving (the tip of the tail wagging can indicate thinking or attentiveness). No one body part can tell the whole story of how an animal is feeling. Ears, tail, body position, head position, eye contact, etc. They all work together to convey to other animals how they are feeling and what their intentions are.

It was from a Horseshoe Bat at a Wet Market in China. 😳 The EXACT same reason/excuse give for Covid, a.k.a. SARS 2.0. I don't believe for a minute that Covid came from a Wet Market. They called it a "Novel" Coronavirus, meaning it had never been seen before. How could it be "Novel" and unseen if it's similar to SARS part 1? Something's rotten in the country of China, not Denmark, and methinks its a bat!!

    • @@ZiddersRooFurry More like it escaped from a lab, because they were working on gene splicing that virus with human DNA at the virology lab across the street from the Wet Market. How hard is it for someone to accidentally get infected, then transmit it at the Wet Market where they shop for dinner? I don't believe that it came from a bat at the Wet Market, or from a "wild" bat.

  • Donkeys hate most things that resemble a dog. Feral/wild dogs, coyotes, foxes, even wolves. They will give chase/attack with biting/front/back hooves, they also make a lot of noise which can scare off the predator but also alerts the farmer... they're like a pasture alarm system. Dogs could bark at a flippin' squirrel, donkey's are a little bit more discreet lol.

I pet a few of them in Tijuana, Mexico which was my first time to experience meeting and petting them and they were very nice to me. There were lots of their “solid” wastes if you know what I walking about? At that time when I was there with my best friend who we are the American citizens (last time I was there was June 1993), Tijuana really was a very dirty and filthy. Remember that Mexico is a Third World country. A while ago, I watched some videos of Tijuana for fun recently and Oh My God, I couldn’t believe how much Tijuana now looks. Lots of changes around there and so many high rise condominium buildings were built and many new places around Revolution Road where it is located in Downtown Tijuana. It’s because it is probably that the NAFTA has helped Mexico into a great shape country, eh? Last time people in Mexico averaged by getting around $3,000 Mexican peso annually, but after the NAFTA was formed up, they’ve gotten double now compared to the USA, we average getting around $40,000. Oh well…I really wanna come visit Mexico City and Cancun one day.
