The trailer for Little Nightmares 3 just dropped and with it a whole host of new information for us to theorise over!

It would be interesting if the mirrors contain the shadows of previous characters and low is somehow connected to them

Alone=pigtails. Would be nice if low was related to one of the past protags. Probably to mono.
And the final mirror… you see a little boy, with a bag on his head, crying, alone, after all the suffering he went through, we touch his shoulder, he looks back, he’s shocked to see two other kids, after all everything he has seen has tried to kill him, he sees them both, together. He gets flashbacks when he was with six, and how it crumbled down. They reach for his hand but instead of grabbing it, he hugs both of them.

If you notice, in the trailer we actually see the mirror beginning to get engulfed in a mysterious black smoke, which seems to be the same smoke that Six had swirling around her after she killed the Lady.
also the mirror looks like the mirrors in the little nightmares issues comics

First thing I thought of with the humanoid figure hanging bodies: he’s creating a mobile to soothe the baby. And yes, I’m a mom. I see almost everything through that lens.

I am very convinced the main antagonist of LN3 will be six. the fact the devs are hiding it so much more then they ever did w the lady and the thin man, the black clouds around the mist, and again the MIRRORS I think its six for sure imo.

Also, Mono finds the glitched version of the Pigtail Girl in the room she was trying to escape from. I thought she died but then I thought about it and I realized that it's just her glitch, like how Six's glitches were shown in the bedroom where she was taken or in the city where she was before (helping lead Mono to defeat the Thin Man). So, that means that the Thin Man took her, giving a possibility that she could've escaped. Like we don't know where he takes them. Does he take them to the tower for the eyes? She probably escaped and made her way to the Necropolis. Also, she knows how to use her spoons and they usually break and end up looking like the wrench she has now. I love these games! (also she was my favorite character of the comics)

alone could totally be the girl from the comics, especially since in the comics her scene takes place in the hospital and in the trailer we have a scene with a hospital that could be the same. We'd then have the continuation of her story and probably parallel scenes in which we'd see mono and six.
I dont think we'll see Mono but i think Six is in the game. Maybe see them together for a little while
@@ipeknaz097we most likely won't see mono for he is stuck in a time loop. Unless in this game he somehow escapes it but at the same time that probably means six would've never made it to the maw and would break the timeline. But it's also little nightmares so who knows.
@@dumbyoshi I don't think we will see Mono (I'd want to see him, damn). And about Six. She must have gone somewhere after escaping Maw. Maybe she's in charge of Necropolis, maybe she's still awaying, and maybe she'll meet Low and Alone somehow. Maybe none of them. It's hard to be clear when it comes to Little Nightmares
i don't think alone is the girl with the pigtails because the comics aren't canon so it wouldn't make sense that they would put her in the game

I noticed in a gameplay clip, where we see the kids avoiding the eye search light, the room looks similar to the one in the third episode of Secrets of the Maw, where the boy gets one of the stone statue.
I saw the mirror and the black smoke and instantly thought of The Lady and i really hope that we will learn more about her because i am so intrigued by her character.
i personally think I'd they do include the lady it will six as her

Yeah no its a VERY strong possibility Alone is the pigtail girl as it was confirmed those stories weren't just one-offs, they were canon to the series. They where just stories of other children's journey through the pale city, they just never ran into Mono or Six. In particular she was never shown dieing in her story so it is possible she managed to escape and leave the Pale City. In addition there are many hints already that Six and Mono's stories will continue in some form in this series. The mirrors, the similar smoke Six generated after defeating the lady, references to screens and callbacks to Mono in LN2. I mean the easter eggs alone are screaming it.
IMAGINE IF LOW IS REFUGGE BOY AND ALONE IS A SPOON GIRL THAT WOULD BE THE BIGGERST PLOT TWIST IN THE HISTORY
Issue is, very little nightmares is still cannon. And he’s in that game. And he’s white. Low is clearly either mixed or straight up black. I don’t think there’s been a black character showed yet in little nightmares, however alone being the pig tale girl makes so much sense (oddly enough even the exact same shade of hair) I only hope that if it is true (which is super cool if it is) that unlike fnaf security breach, they don’t ret con anything and say it’s not her because someone figured out the surprise / lore early

@@ollievalentine4239There area actually black children in the little nightmares university. You can see a portrait of one kid in the pale city, not to mention a whole tone of them in the digital comic with mono! I have a feeling Low may be one of them!

the smoke around the mirror looking very similar to the power six gains after eating the lady i feel like it's foreshadowing that six will be in this game in some compacity my theory is six is gonna be the main "villain" in this game
More than likely. The ending of LIttle nightmares One heavily implied Six was going to become a monster very similiar to the Lady. My guess she'll be an endgame boss.
Maybe but not necessarily, even with those powers six only killed the monsters in the maw and spared the nomes(aka the children). She's done both some good and bad stuff. She's neither good or evil, she's neutral, but hopefully we'll see her in this game.

i really don’t want the mirror to be for traveling like they’ve because of feel too reused rather i hope it works as more of a mirror dimension where you change things in that world to affect the normal one it would make for some cool atmospheres and gameplay
at least they don’t travel in tvs like mono, so it’s kinda not reused

They're deliberately hiding Six in the trailer And I LOVE IT! They are definitely planning on making her the next big bad no doubt about it

Remember the comics where Mono was trapped in some sort of a building with black kids? Low seems to have similar clothing to them, maybe he's the one of them who managed to escape? Just a fun little thought

Keep in mind that the games use of mirrors as a key gameplay mechanic obviously references the mirror monster from the Little Nightmares volume two comic book.
One thought I have is that the fair could be a sort of trap/recruitment point for the guests, essentially the fair draws them in with carnival food and the Maw swings by periodically to pick up gluttons that have gathered at the fair. So it may be this game ends with the children accidentally being drawn into the Maw as well.
I actually can’t describe how excited i am for this game. I saw the trailer on instagram at school lunch and almost screamed i was so excited 🤩

Just a thought... As stated by some other content creators, there is a character from the comics called the "Mirror Man" that distorts and changes kid's appearance when they look in mirrors. To tie back to what you said about the different themes of the previous games, Hunger and Escapism, the next theme could be Self-Image. The "Mirror Man" could be a metaphor for someone who takes pleasure in making others feel bad about themselves. From the drawings of the "Mirror Man" (to me) he doesn't look that old. It could be representing some older brother or bully, but it could also just be the art style. I at least feel that the new "sin" that's presented in this game looks to have something to do with how kids see themselves, and how this can be affected negatively by others.
Timeline: Very Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 2, Little Nightmares 1, then hopefully Little Nightmares 3. I think it goes like this

@@ediblecouch I mean, it could be shes dead or not. If im not mistaken, Six also appeared to Mono as a shadow when he searched for her, so there's the probability that she survived and escaped the Thin Man.

The Pigtail Girl is what actually came into my mind initially after I saw Alone in the trailer. Hopefully they add more characters like The Fat Kid or The Toddler.

The game havinf a theme of waste is a VERY good theory. I can see a lot of the imagery shown in the trailer being tied to that theme. Great analysis dude!

alone = monster baby low = mirror monster lollipops were shown in the room on the left handed side whenever Low & Alone were traveling through the mirror & the goop room. lollipop reference is the fat kid ( but i understand that he was kidnapped from the school kids ) the hands appearing in the opening tube is also a reference to the art book released years previously

No I noticed what looked like figures too. I assumed it just was supposed to represent the evil/danger. But I definitely see what looks like someone reaching towards you.

I would LOVE to see a little nightmares take on an aquarium or zoo. The disturbing animals or maybe people fused with animals would be so scary.

My partner and I believe that this Nekropolis is actually the Pale city in the future, all burned up into a desert. It has the same tall wall to climb, the same sort of street locations and the desert field outside looks like a desert version of the entrance to the city after the Hunter. There are even the same suitcases and the same clothes with no people in them. What do you guys think?

i don't think six is the lady, the simplest example is that mono already had his powers, six gets them from the lady after. Also mono grows up in the tower where time is distorted. i don't think six had time to grow up (and we don't even know if they can grow up, mono is a special case) even because could be another prequel. @@nosyjohnsons635

I just really like Little Nightmares. Because we could make so many theories about it I do feel like that the devs really like fans making theories about the franchise. As if they really want to answer some of our questions from the first game and in the second game But making theories is really really fun. I do like watching theory videos regarding Little Nightmares, it's just the world and lore is interesting
I like the alone being the girl with a bloody nose but we see her as a shadow kid by the hole in the hospital.
We also see six as one too, but she seems to be able to get around the maw without it. Maybe it's the same for her, and even all the other glitch remains.

In Necropolis there seems to be a lot of raven and strong wind. So I wonder if it has any connection to the entity "The North Wind" in the comic, which also have an association with raven and strong wind

@@gabyxone3542 the game description litterally said "learn more about the boy in the raven mask (which is Low) and the girl in pigtails (Alone). Alone doesnt seem to have pigtails here as they were probably cut off by her to fit the sand goggles. It litterally says that its the girl with pigtails.

OMG. If this game builds the bridge from part one to part two then I will be so desperate to experience it. This entire franchise is just so superb. I prefer a lovely and deeply made little nightmares game over any empty AAA title like Assassins Creed
I agree with You i was already giving hope up that we dont get any good Horror Game in 2024 besides of Course a New Resident Evil game But other than that i was really sad that nothing happend, i did revisit some older Games some Weeks ago like Alien Isolation, The Evil Within or Little Nightmares 1 and then they Relased just like that a Trailer for Little Nightmares 3 and my Jaw just dropped on the Floor and this was defently one of the Horror Games we defenetly needed now for Years and im just so happy that we finally get more of this World and its dark Monsters

(Spoilers for The Sounds of Nightmares below) If you ever plan to make a theory about/referencing The Sounds of Nightmares, there was a comment made by ScarbiteOzzY on the 6th Chapter that said: "At 10:47 the way Otto reacts to hearing there's a yellow raincoat makes me think if Ci Ci could possibly be The Girl in the yellow raincoat" And I just thought that was a really easily-missable but incredibly important piece of info that I wanted to bring to your attention. The mirror reminds me of the LN comic where the boys see better versions of themselves and the fact that its a dessert just like in the comic makes me believe that its the same mirror

I dont think Alone is the spoon girl, because -Why her of all people? Wouldn't it make more sense for each protagonists to be their own new character? Runaway Kid was a new character. Raincoat Girl was a new character. Mono was a new character. The only recurring protagonist was Six (which makes sense, considering shes the DANG MC of this WHOLE franchise). -So Spoon Girl cut her braids cause... why...? It doesnt add up to me. We cant just go: "They have the same hair colour, therefore they are the same person". And you're gonna tell me RK and Mono are the same, cause they are both boys with black hair? -I understand the idea that Alone wipes her face instinctively for her blood, but not only does it feel umm... far-fetched of a theory but uhh... Six wipes her face as well in the second game when she's idling. :/
It's so exciting
On the steam page for LN3 you can see a screenshot of the kids going up a suspended staircase with the walls around them made from metal sheets just like the maw. Even though the factory level looks similar the image has a blue hue in the lighting while all factory levels have a green hue.

I cant help but remember that one kid six met in the maw, along a hole group of kids with "special" abilitys, there was one that had a thing with mirrors, and an entity inside them, he might me the raven mas kid
Nice theory on the girl with pig tails! Though I’m not sure alone is the same as the hospital girl😅. In the comic it shows her trapped and digging a hole to escape. In the LN2 game we are able to secretly visit this room and see the already dug up escape hole, and right next to it is a glitchy corpse. I believe this is hinting that she was taken by Thinman.
It might be but six was also taken by the thin man and escaped. We also saw the spoon girl get out into the corridor while being stalked by the doctor so it wouldn't make sense for her glitching remains to be back in that room.

And there might be a returning theme of corruption. So far mono and six have gone through development that turns them into or allows them to inherit the 'powers' of their predecessors. They are children that are influenced by the adults and world around them. Will these two break the cycle? Or become like those who wished to detroy them?
According to Bandai Namco's site they have mentioned alone and low as the " the raven mask boy and the pigtail girl" so yes , that should confirm it is her
All I know is, my favorite location so far is “even more”! Edit: 5:17 the issue with that theory is that if alone IS the spoon girl, then she cant be the one from LN1 bc that girl died, unless 3 is ANOTHER prequel, then the identity of both characters is still impossible to know.

Mono was left alone in the second game and his name means one. So using that same thinking maybe in the game Alone is left or something happens to her and during that Low meets another kid that helps them and I say Low might meet another kid because if anything like the second there was 2 characters Mono and six. So we might get another character that could be the third one if that makes since
