@@kaia27 if you were talking about vocals she might be not the best vocalist in the group but she's definitely has a beautiful voice, they have position base on their strength and vocals might not be the strength of Lisa but she can definitely sing and can explore more about her skills if just YG will let her do that. If you heard her collab with DJ Snake "SG" you can tell she can sing and has a range. Now, if you were talking about the standards of western, Lisa is the closest to pass it among her members. Her voice is unique for rapping that's why western people notice her so quick. If she decided to go solo totally and being a solo rap artist she could definitely can climb up the ladder.

YG doesn't "BUILD" anyone, what they do is identify talent and bring it to the surface. Such a claim also diminishes the achievements of the other three members and suggests that they're somehow phony at some level. If talent was buildable we'd all be superstars. I agree that Lisa is naturally blessed but I'm sure she also not only benefited from YG's training but also being combined with the other three. Both Jisoo and Jennie commented on this in Light Up the Sky.

Fun fact: this song was by Destiny Roggers and according to her she was almost supposed to be dropped by her label.. then boom Lisa and her team out of no where released lilifilm the movie using "tomboy" which tripled the views on youtube and increased the streams on spotify and basically gave Destiny another shot.. she even thanked Lisa for it.
