    • @@ChaoticBad Hand Tool Rescue is another fun restorer, liked that so much I even ordered one of his home-made wrenches. He restores tools and machines to perfect working condition but leaving the vintage look. Rescue & Restore goes another direction and restores devices to mint condition better than they would have left the original store. There are some who criticise this but you have to admit he does an impressive job at it!

The main rule of "show the people what they need to see when they need to see it" is exemplified in your work, whereas it is overlooked in so many "professional" TV shows! The level of detail you show is superb. Your camera is steady with no "swish pans" to make people seaskick! I commend you. Plus...what a difference it makes when you have the right tools for the job at hand. And you MADE a tool...basically a milling attachment--just like my dad would have done! He, too, made his own milling attachement for his lathe. I'm impressed.

  • OMG! I used to call Bingo at my kid's elementary school years ago. The school (to this very day!)has the exact same model sorter that you just restored. It is every bit as rusty and dinged and bent as the one you restored too. However, the side where the roller cage is on this one was "upgraded" to a glass sided box with electric air blower that randomly mixes and chooses a ball (not wood- more like ping pong density plastic so the air can move them inside). It would periodically overheat (there was a lightbulb inside) and begin to emit smoke mid game. Bingo is boring you say? Hah. This brought back some really fun memories and you did an excellent job restoring this old beast.🧯🔥💡 PS: Is nobody going to mention your little bingo buddy who skittered across at 00:08? I almost jumped a foot.🕷

You have the best toys to use what you need. A huge oven. An awesome sandblaster that does things I have never seen others do, such as the water polishing. You have a Cricut that you cut vinyl lettering and numbers for the number board. AND THEN you answered the question I had been wondering all along, "What is he going to do about the Bingo balls?". I know my mouth dropped open when you created your own tool, on a lathe as nice as your other tools, to make the Bingo balls! When you drilled out the metal for the tool, I thought, "wow you could make your own steel wool". 😆 This was one interesting and enjoyable video. Thank you so very much for sharing. Take care and stay safe. I wish I had watched this sooner but so very glad that I finally did. Much love for an awesome artist. 😊♥ Looking forward to more videos.
