  • When I was a little girl, the symphony orchestra sent a small group to my school to perform. Everyone else was very stoic, very professional. But this one cellist had her eyes closed and she swayed and moved and played with such passion and abandon. I fell in love with the cello. I wish I'd learned to play. This very much reminds me of her. It's so beautiful.

    • It’s NEVER to late. I just picked at another (violin) instrument at 33. It’s taking a bit. I told myself if I put a correct amount of dedication in then I will get myself the cello. Hi busy don’t get anything crazy expensive but if you buy something cheap and worst case scenario you blow it off and don’t take it seriously can you didn’t waste a lot of money but if you do put your all into it and then possibly after a year you can upgrade to something nice. I got a cheaper violin and E great set of strings which together made for a decent instrument. I for one no I would be very disappointed if the one thing I always wanted to do as a child I put off during my entire adult life only today never knowing how to play the simplest of chords or an instrument that truly moved my hearts. Don’t give up!!!
