Even if BJP won all the seats in North India, the victory of Rahul from Kerala has more value than it as the Keralites are educated, intellectual and are rational in decision making compared to people in other states. Even manual labourers in Kerala are educated, have intellectual thinking and has their own rational opinion in matters including politics, cinema or anything. They cannot be easily influenced by sarees, liquor or money during elections which may happen in other states in India. They never build temple for movie stars nor do they elect movie stars to the legislature simply because of their stardom. It is due to this reason; most movie stars do not seek candidature in Kerala in elections. Keralites welcome only high value movies as the intellectual taste of Keralites can be seen even in the national film awards where quality films are produced. They are not like the common people in Northern states where the feudal system of the medieval century prevails in villages. Majority of these voters do not have thinking ability and still stamp their thumb impression blindly wherever the zameendars asks. The election results of Kerala is the real election results for a democracy of enlightened, intellectual people. As BJP could not win even a single seats in Kerala because communalism will not work out among intellectual people in Kerala. So winning of Rahul from a constituency in Kerala is more valuable than the winning of Modi in all the North Indian states. This election result is like Rahul passed out from Oxford University (voted by intellectuals from Kerala) and Modi passed out from the home school of a local master (whole of North India). But it is sad that democracy counts only the numbers not the intellect of the voters.
@LightShadow 49 winning elections is not an evidence of brilliance or intelligence, IT Keralites even got to US, UK, Canada..... for jobs not only to Bangalore. They need us to build their businesses. We do not have high businesses here as in the metros of Mumbai as ours is not an industrial state. But all the major states in India and the major cities in the world like Arab countries are built upon our sweat and brilliance.
