It was so annoying yet funny to watch Sean scare himself about almost setting his base on fire, then continue putting mines around the area closest to the walls and then continue running away from the oncoming inferno while yelling "I need to put the fire out!" Love this man 😂
The funny part is it wasn't a scare, he actually did set his base on fire with, literally, the first mine he placed. When I saw they started fires, I knew he would do that eventually

-56 minutes into the video -Sean ignores iron nuggets instead of turning them into iron ingots -Sean ignores food that's already present in his inventory, probably because he didn't realize this fact -Sean questions why his rapier disappeared.. after he uninstalled the mod -Sean takes off ALL existing armor due to the fact he's 1-hit and doesn't like the sound the boots make, even though the armor would be useful for mobs and fall damage, and he can just take off the boots. -Later, as Sean is attacked by spiders in the forest.. Sean questions; "Why don't I have any armor?!" Never change, Sean.
That ending scene with Sean saying farewell to his dog was actually really touching. Superb bit of storytelling! :'D In my opinion, these singleplayer 100 day videos is where Sean really shines - not to say the multiplayer videos aren't great as well.
I love it when multiple zombies spawn around Sean and he just stands there after it making it clear that ONE HIT can kill his whole run.

Sean, this is a VERY important notice for next time you build a wall. Try to make some sort of overhang so they can't get over. Literally anything works, such as slabs, iron bars and such. I tried this in my own world and it was very, very effective. Hope this helps.

The trapdoors in the beginning were going all over the place because of the fences. They take up just a bit more than one block making the physics mod make them go haywire.

2:12:48-2:24:15 My favourite part. From Sean accidentally trapping himself in his maze-like mine by mining too deep to the point where he created an opening for a horde made of every zombie he had been dropping into a pit to escape and surround him from, to him managing to escape said horde by creating another pit and luring them into dropping themselves into it, slowly mining (and later digging) his way out of his maze-like mine with a block of dirt (and later his shovel, which was on the verge of breaking) since his pickaxe broke beforehand and sprinting all the way back to his base in the middle of a horde WITHOUT GETTING BIT ALL THE WAY. Truly a climatic moment of suspense.
The best part is... you can't see half of what is going on it's so dark... so you just hear him yelling and jumping at everything 🤣🤣🤣

@@clone_wick_f honestly I don't really like the more modern forge labs, the parts where he comes on camera is nice and all, but the videos that aren't in modded survival style feel way too stale, you have the really suspenseful action packed modded videos, and then the other ones kinda just feel like something is missing. maybe it's just me but something about the charm of the older videos like mustard virus just isn't as prominent in the new ones.
I think maybe having the mods set so zombies don't spawn in unnatural light like torches and lanterns would help a bit, that way you can actually set up a safe zone where they aren't spawning.
Yes that would make it so much better because having them just spawn on his roof and in the compound is a little “unrealistic”

Fun fact - 20 minutes are a day in minecraft. 100 days x 20 minutes = 2000 minutes in one go. 2000 ÷ 60 (for the amount of minutes in an hour) = 33.3 33% of 60 (for the minutes of an hour) = 19.8 minutes 80% of 60 (for the seconds in a minute) = 48 seconds The official time of a no-interruptions Let's Play for 100 days survived in minecraft (roughly) is 33 hours, 19 minutes, and 48 seconds. Which is getting close to being two days in real time.
I really enjoy the day counter at the top right corner of the vid. It makes me see how long and how much Forges has progressed. It also is a rememberance of where i am in the video in case my dumb self goes to another time stamp :D
Videos like this are why I think Sean is one of the few good 100 days MC players. Great music, quick thinking, bravery, amazing content as always man.

I'm surprised after all these years, that Sean hasn't discovered that mobs do not spawn on glass. he could have carpeted his base with glass blocks/panels to prevent mobs from spawning within his base, but also easy to break the blocks to get mobs to fall into a it below his base.
I have a feeling he doesn't know it either but even if he did, he probs wouldn't do it since the overwhelming zombie spawns are what keeps it interesting
@@raisin8328 I mean yeah I'd get that, but the guy has so many ways of fending them off or keeping them at bay that wouldn't be considered "cheating", and yet he builds the most flimsiest of structures that always end up falling apart in minutes, either by his hand or by the undead. Like that one time he actually tried to make a mote and fill it with lava was a good idea at the time, but he never fully finished that concept and as a result, the undead out piled what little lava he mad in those motes.

Major Spoilers Ahead I feel like the ending is easily the most realistic ending for a Zombie Apocalypse as it perfectly captures the way alot of us would genuinely end. We don't die doing some heroic stuff, we die because we let our guard down. Even if it was just for a second, that second could decide life and death in these scenarios.

I usually think that he makes questionable decisions throughout the episodes, however the luring the horde to a random cave and putting trapdoors to make them fall while he was standing in a floating block was truly big brain

I get extremely lost in minecraft but something that might help is keeping a sticky note either on your monitor or on your desk close by that has your home base cords written on it :) I leave a sticky note on my laptop so i can write the cords of anything i come across while exploring and i keep my base cords listed at the top so i never have to worry about it

I'm always amazed at just how many people watch these videos to the end, in this day and age where people's attention spans are mere seconds long, Sean is able to keep us all entertained for 3 hours straight.

if the armor prevented bites by a certain % chance, based on the tier (leather being way lower, diamond/netherite being way higher) i think armour would be useful in this pack also this terrain gen is awesome
I would love to see this 100 days with the rest of the gang, it was a really good one, and honestly, I think it was more impactful that you didn't survive; made it feel more real, and like the stakes were truly higher than ever throughout the entire video. You did really good job, man.

I mean, that was FAR longer then I expected, given that this was basically a no-hit run. I LOVE the wall design for this one, totally gonna comandeer that and make a sick bandit-like hideout on my next world. This was a great episode, and I'm happy you got so dang far!
I’m going to be honest, having the video end at 85 days because you got bit with no cure is actually incredibly thematic with zombie apocalypse in my mind. Surviving so far just to be bitten so close to the end, with more to do and more to see, was painful. Taking your boxer and setting him free just so he isn’t trapped with a zombie upon your departure is a heart breaking scene. People may not like the video ending early because you didn’t survive 100 days, but imo, dying early with plans still unfinished is a true thematic end to a zombie apocalypse story… Love the video, my boxer pups say hello as well! :)

This is my first video of yours that I’ve seen, and I love it sm. It’s so cool to see everything that happened and hear your thought process behind your actions.
The irony in these series is impeccable. Sean builds a watchtower to normally used to scout out fires only for it to go up in flames. He terraforms a side of his base only to blow it up later. He makes zombie hole v.10 only for it to almost kill him in the mines later. He goes to the prison where many perish to meet the same fate as them. Incredble.
As I lay here in bed sick and contagious myself, this is very comforting. Great timing my man 😂
Additionally it be pretty awesome to see a group of you do this, especially if you can hunt down your teamates after yoh turn

Sean, buddy, if you feel your stairs are too thin/thick, try putting a set of inverse stairs underneath your stairs. Thins the design out without making it look neither too thin nor too thick.
