This is extremely sad considering how it all starts: they were corrupted at first, got freed and were so filled with hope, probably thinking that their friendship would save them and take them far and beyond, yet as the battle and corruption pregressed again, they failed a second time. You can see in 1:36 how determined and angry they are, not giving up. And around minute 2 they're still fighting back even with tears in their eyes because of how painful it is. It was only at the end when Boyfriend returned that all hope was lost.

I love how this dude just didn’t have Lila or someone else close the spooky kids replace mearest and have skid and pump get depressed then. They actually had skid and pump try the entire time but they weren’t strong enough. I’ve noticed how a lot of people make someone’s strength on the corruption based on their will power to stop it while it’s just base strength. Like how dearest saw mearest and stopped trying his hardest which was stronger than the corruption so he got corrupted. The spooky kids had will power the entire time but still got corrupted. Overall a good deathmatch cover.

Basically, So bf and skid and pump doin a costume party, and they're costumes can magically change. All the kids do is Express what feels right, and all the "corrupt" characters are just in costumes that have built in moving parts or such that allow them to move with a certain action, but it doesnt include any miss costumes, so it falls off for a bit, then it teleports back on after the animation is done. Pretty cool

Something I came up with All the corrupted people who are planning on doing a rap battle must do it on the stage because that's where most of the others are and if they start to get uncorrupted they will just team up to re corrupt them
They never stood a chance... Skid saved them both for some time, but neither him nor Pump can stop the corruption, they could never win, and were doomed from the start... Real sad though to see them battle together, only for them to see themselves losing, being corrupted, trying harder but doing no better.. Skid watching as Pump falls, only to soon meet the same fate despite trying his hardest.. They went out like fighters though bro

Fun fact about the corruption: The corruption is way stronger when it has more hosts/people corrupted which means at deathmatch daddy dearest must have been super strong to fend himself off for that long
You have to admit, in every corrupted universe, no one can take Corrupted Ruv, AGOTI, and Zardy like Skid and Pump bro. Props for them to standing for as long as they could.
At least it took the best of the corruptions rappers to beat them this time around. They made sure to make it difficult for them this time. Respect for spooky bois.

they weren't losing in a sense of guilt/hopelessness, they lost because they weren't strong enough. When Zardy came out they looked angry instead of upset, like they are determined to beat him but in the end failed Instead, Skid lost hope when BF came back and Pump was fully corrupted. They temporarily felt a bit of hope after BF and Pump were uncorrupted slightly and kept fighting, but then the corruption set again and they lost
