yeah... but I don't like how the animation of Luigi works when he slams the ghosts twice on the same side, its kinda weird.

Aside from the Banjo & Kazooie reveal, this was definitely the highlight of the direct for me. I didn't dislike the second game but it definitely didn't reach the height of the original game. This actually feels like it could be as great as the original. (or even better)
The biggest gamble is more or less whether or not the ghosts have actual designs beyond the basic copies we got in LM2, I imagine we'll get more of the scarescraper variant bosses though at 5 floor intervals.
The main thing for me is that it can’t be mission based. The mission based aspect of Dark Moon ruined the whole game for me personally. It constricted the free roam aspect of the original.
boss battles were much more in depth in LM2 but i spent more time online than in campaign.

ScareScaper was one favorite things about dark moon but hated when people left the game before we even got to Start
They should give penalty from dropping out.
It's the best part of the game, hands down.

Small way of confirming the dark light device returns.
I didn’t really care for it in Dark Moon. It reminds me of the scanning in the Metroid Prime games. It isn’t terrible, but I don’t care for it at all
Strangely, the scarescaper is motel while the main hotel is more of a scarescraper.
Next-Level Games is just amazing at animating Mario characters. Even for online multiplayer, they're not pulling any punches.
I love the dark light animation.
I'm so happy that they decided to not only just focus the game in one mansion, much like the first one did (before the second one had like a million different mansions), but also bring back the scarescraper. Definitely picked the best of both games to bring back.
This game looks amazing!!! I recently bought my Switch, and I'm gonna say: I don't regret it!
Hopefully, it doesn't get pushed back. Besides that, I'm really hyped for this game!
It looks pretty well along so far, they even have Scarescraper implemented. I'd guess November, at the latest.

The grabber ghosts in this are amazing! I love there creepy look and sounds they expel. Scare scraper looks amazing so far! Really excited for this game!

So this has Blue ghosts: like greenies from lm2 with outfits and accessories Gold ghosts: basically speedy spirits from lm1 Red ghosts: look like slammers from lm2 but haven’t seen their attack animation Purple ghosts: like sneakers from lm2 And “a couple dozen portrait ghosts” Damn that sounds good and was happy to hear that Bryce admitted to the flaws of dark moon and made this game look so amazing

Respect to the development team for listening to the feedback of fans. While I’m not 100% on the art style, I have confidence this game will be amazing.
So far, the game and it's new mechanics look great. My only concern is the slam. It's WAY too strong in my opinion and it takes them down too easily. It either needs a damage nerf or a cap on how many you can do. I love this series, I just don't want it to be effortless
Yeah, the slam seems to take any little challenge it had out of it, it can even be used on the huge ghosts!? If they're trying to make it easy for a really young audience, hopefully they at least have a 'hard' or 'classic' mode that disables slams (As well as tuning up the challenge in other ways) for players who want to play that way
It takes a bit before you can slam them, but I that the meter should fill up slower. Maybe as you go along, you can make it faster

@@preparefordededestruction2661 Yeah, I think it helps. But we still see how quick it was to take said group down with these skills to. that's why I still think it needs to be nerfed in some way
it makes the fight trvial and it breaks your combo, the whole point of the original was to see how smoothly you could suck the ghosts from 100-0 without failing, thats been broken up here and it way less smooth and satisfying.

@@GerudoGirl97 I've heard that on the new 3ds turning with the second circle pad thing doesn't feel right and on the original 3ds you have to use the d pad which also doesn't feel right
16:49 it's so great that they listened to fan feedback, especially since they went onto forums to hear what people thought about LM2. They could've stuck with the LM2 formula and it still would've sold well, but they went the extra mile and that's really cool. Wish more developers would do that.
Loving the Vibraphone music! All the music is this game sounds super clean!
ScareScaper in 2 is very fun and addictive but there are a ton of crucial glitches which stop players from progressing like Key Glitch. they haven't even fixed them for some reason. I hope they debug it through and through this time.

I love that Scarescraper mode has an aesthetic similar to the original Luigi’s Mansion!
I WILL convince my friends to buy this game this time. The multiplayer was amazing in dark moon, but finding a competent party of randoms was impossible. I often found myself fighting off endlessly spawning hordes while stuck in a rug as the time slowly ran out. No one came to get me out despite spamming the "help help" while fighting for my life. I learned my lesson. I will make my own party for the very hard difficulty this time.

I've noticed it on almost all the Treehouse videos. Seems that they must be right next to the demo booths for the remake, and the volume on those things is too high perhaps.
Co-OP looks really fun in this one. Looks like they put a ton of thought and care to make it a mode worth playing and not just some throw away mode tacked on.

Luigi is catching ghosts in mansions and hotels now, what's the next big location? A haunted city or village in Luigi's Mansion 4 😁 yes! It should be called Luigi's scarry adventure or something Mansion is restricting 😅
A haunted village would be great actually, it could even contain references and parodies to Resident evil 4 like this game's cinema floor has a parody of Samara from The Ring

The best thing about this game is the variety of scenarios!
Scarescraper in dark moon was good but flawed, some modes were way too hard, like the timed mode where you have to find the exit. Glad to see they will be fixing these issues in this game.
