  • There's also a rebrand of GMK67 like that on the Philippines named Rakk Pirah Plus. Its prebuilt although uses outemu reds, it has that black and gold doubleshot pbt keycaps, 4000mAh battery capacity, via compatibility, complete poron foam and ixpe sheet, and a flex cut PC plate! Best thing about it is its basically around 50 bucks.

  • Looks like a lot of quality for a very low price. Maybe not a full blown custom, but a great entry point for a lot of people getting into the hobby or looking for their first “custom keyboard” ⌨️

  • This is rebranded GMK67. Got it mine for $35. Added gateron cap milky yellow v2 switches and Double shot pbt keycaps. Complete keyboard costs me $79. But it sounds better than this out of the box.

  • Hi! Just popping in to provide a translation for that sticker in simplified chinese, it says "EK68 black and purple keycaps (Original V3), bluebird switches" In all honesty, I'm not sure what the words in the brackets stand for but, it could be referring to how the keyboard has 3 different connection options? (2.4 Ghz/50 Bluetooth/USB-C)?? Take this with a grain of salt

  • definitely looks a lot like the gmk67. definitely has a good clack to it, but if i definitely wanted to go more budget i'd go with the gmk67, but for a prebuilt board, its fine, especially for someone who doesn't like to bother with modding

  • Pretty sure the knob is one key, and the fact that you can press it is another key. Knobs that you can turn but not press just count as one.

  • I bought this keyboard a short while ago. Def not bad but there were some things that bothered me so ended up buying a CIY tester 84 kit and absolutely loving it. The problems with the epomaker ek68 was mainly the build quality. The plastic casing feels very cheap and simply holding it up already makes it creak and squeek like crazy. Also for some reason no matter what switch I put in it always sounded very scratchy. I'm guessing it has something to do with the foam layers and build quality? The CIY tester 84 feels extremely solid and premium with a steel / aluminum case that doesn't make a single squeek noise or anything when picking it up. Best part is is it's only 30 bucks on Ali. Just buy some gateron yellows or akko switches, a nice and cheap keycap set and boom very high quality keyboard. :)

  • I'm new and am looking to build my 1st board, but am pretty overwhelmed by the amount of information ^^" Does anyone have a recommendation for a good barebones kit? What I'm looking for: white - 2.4Ghz Wireless - aluminum preferably - anything from 65 to 80% - RGB - hot swap - preferably ISO, but ANSI also works - Budget is up to 250€ for the entire build options I am considering rn are the Zoom75 (if it's even possible to get), Akko 5075B Plus, Royal Kludge M75 also close to giving up and just buying a Deathstalker v2 or Roccat Vulcan Mini Air should they be on sale :´)

  • Tried Epomaker, It's like having a really nice car with no engine. you can feel the quality of the exterior, typing euphoria ..etc. But the inbuilt software is terrible. The thing goes to sleep every other minute, the connection drops a lot even in the middle of typing. My $19 microsoft keyboard stays up for 8 months!

  • umm this is just a GMK67 with VIA support... up to all y'all if you don't care about the VIA compatibility you can build a GMK67 for $30~ maybe $40-50 if you really hit the aliexpress superdeals hard. Epomaker doesn't really make anything.. this is clearly an OEM keyboard design with a VIA compatible firmware..
