I always wondered where Mikan gets all their marbles from. Turns out, they're made off-world!
what's their website I need to order some
and seeing some of the other models in the other factory cars, I guess we get the budget ones...
They are actually made in a software. Don't you watch the videos and read their titles?
@Gonzalo Luengo i think the budgets are based on properties of destination, like temperature, gravity... so their colorings and material compositions are adjusted accordingly... And I think they do bound for everywhere in the solar system, especially planets, perhaps their moons too
@@krisnarudra2387…
I want to see a full picture of how large and complex this is (maybe on community posts). This is incredible!
Its probably just the sections we see in action and the rest marbles are just prepared for show
@@user-lf1pp3zu1c thats what i was thinking but even then this is massive
Just when i think you cant make these videos any cooler, keep up the great work!!!😊
This is by far, the most interesting marble factory to exist in Algodoo/Unity community. You can't deny it unless you see the whole process This actually brings a new theory for me that, high quality marbles don't actually being produced on Earth but rather on other rocky surface. Best bet I can say this takes place on the Moon but one other thing I can speculate, is Planet MIKAN. Would it have also been the place for the whole time? Since other rocky plants (Mercury, Mars, Venus) haven't provide any such resources for marble creations....
But then again, what are the ores? Iron is surely one of them, but the yellow, pink, and cyan? They can't be normal gemstones, can they? How do they get lighter/darker ores? Do they use another ore to color the paint lighter/darker? How do they get patterns? How do marbles get the rainbow/monochromatic effects? How the hell do they get effect as we can peek at 7:49 ??? Or ones seconds later?
Thats what i asked
@@Therevengeforget more or less white mixed in, or something
No its not on mikan planet but ITS in a asteroid
The finest MIKANium is used to make MIKAN marbles
Process of making marbles (or possibly more…): 1. Some ores are mined and collected in a cart. 2. The coloured ores are unloaded outside the factory. 3. The ores are filtered based on its colour upon entry. 4a. The white ores are heated up and molten into magma. 4b. The yellow, magenta and cyan ores are grounded into aqueous form. 5. The molten magma is then cooled by portions to make a cannon-shaped solid. 6. The excess areas of the solid is grinned to become a ball. There you go! The marbles are made! Time to paint it. 7. The colourful solutions mixes up with other solutions to change colours.(or don’t mix at all.) 8. The drones picks up the balls and paint the ball as same as their colours, then sort them in the tubes. 9. The marbles are boxed and packaged by bending and cutting rods. Done with the marbles! Time to deliver them! 10. The package (with red, orange, yellow, lime, cyan, blue, purple, magenta and white) is loaded into a cart. 11. The cart will load more packages coming from other factories. (In this cart, it loaded marbles from factories 1,2,3 and 27.) (The steps of making marbles with other colours are basically the same, just different colours.) (On the floor above, 1 floor of factories are used to make shining colours, the other for glowing colours.) (1 floor below, it is the section for blinking colours.) 12. After loading, the cart is ready to launch! (Hey, it’s also possible to make mikan marbles, including the combinations above, ring marbles, pulse marbles, also mixed marbles! But we don’t cover them now.) 13. Select a planet to deliver, going up, transform into a rocket, and takeoff! Now the marbles will be delivered to different marble racers to race! (and make eliminations :). Have fun!)
Nice explanation as always!
Fun fact! The drones are made only in grey grey variant, the colored drobes are just from the paint exposure on the factory!
Cant edit comment, phone glitch
what happens to the excess molten magma in step 5?
@@crimsonlegion9729 Well, the factory complex is underground, perhaps that excess magma goes to supplement a geothermal generator.
Interesting... After the video, I will explain the mechanics. A machine finds minerals in which there are 2 types: white and colorful (cyan, orange, magenta). They will go into a separator in which, separate the minerals, allowing them to go to their individual factories. The white will be smelt for material, and the colorful ores will be crushed to make dyes. The smelted ore will go into a frame and sharpened to make marbles. The marbles go into a color factory, which there are a color mixer there. The 3 colors make the rest of the colors: red, yellow, lime, blue, purple. There are 9 catches, each will go into a dye to dye the marbles, except for the white one just doesn't go into a dye. After that, the marbles go into a package, with each 9 marbles, onto a minecart. A minecart may go into another factory, to collect more marbles. Once all of the factories have gone by, it will go into a rocket to send from MIKAN planet to various planets in the solar system. (The one process above is just one factory, Factory-001, we have 30-ish other factories to explore somewhere down the line) Edit: weird, my notification said that I got heart. Where's my heart?
(Editing a comment un-hearts it. Something about avoiding a bait-and-switch on the creator of the video, I think.)
@@Tantusar damn it. Make this the top comment.
Just FYI it's Yellow not Orange as it's going off CMYK colors initially
I gave a heart again! And nice explanation :)

MIKAN never fails to amaze us, that was an epic and flabbergasting marble factory!
i think you mean "always fails to disapoint us"
I think they mean "never fails to appoint us" 🤪
Yea but he need more views
He disappointed me, it wasn't done in Geometry Dash but in Unity
"never fails to amaze us" or "never disappoints us", otherwise it's kinda the other way :-)
I love the visual storytelling the other carts and factory outputs do. After having seen the entire process for the white-based marbles, including the un-dyed one on the right showing the base color, we can infer basically everything about the other factories. And when we see the drastically different patterns and how high the "Factory - ###" goes, we get an idea as to how grand and elaborate the entire facility is.

As another on the spectrum, I certainly relate with how interesting and satisfying it is to see.
as a kid with adhd i can say i agree this stuff makes me happy
As someone on the spectrum, these always amazed me when I was young. About a year or so ago I discovered MIKAN and never looked back. Kudos to him for keeping us entertained for all this time!
I'm not confirmed as on the spectrum yet but it seems really likely. It is incredibly interesting to watch.

Wow ok showing an actual mining system is cool as hell. 2:53 Also the fact that you acknowledge that there'd be a bit of extra left from the point where the mold came off and grind it off is so cool.
That was incredible! I love the way you used the other carts to create a sense of scale with how many other factories there were, and I loved seeing references to other marbles and marble factories within those carts.

This was one of his best creations It's interesting how marbles are taken to different planets at the end
This looks like a decent midgame setup, though I don't think it'll carry you through to the lategame. You'd need to improve throughput, probably by having entire factories dedicated to the common ball types, allowing more efficient bulk processing. The most obvious bottleneck is the dying process; relying on drones to dye each ball individually is _very_ slow, and large batches of one color are much more efficient. In the mid-to-late game, you generally want a large factory dedicated to each of the eight base colors (each supplied by your central ball forming facility), which can then ship their products off to more specific sub-factories for further refinements (darkening, glow, stripes, fusion, etc.). It looks like you took your early-game build and built it up to meet the increased requirements of the mid-game, without actually rebuilding it to work on the scale you're now operating on. Which, okay, is a mistake I also make pretty frequently. But it also looks like you've copied your early-midgame hybrid base with small modifications to fit a variety of purposes, which really doesn't scale well. On a more positive note, your cart network is beautifully constructed, your routing system is clearly _exquisitely_ made, and the hybrid cart/rocket build is frankly brilliant. It's much better than anything I've made, and you've inspired me to step up my game. ... or maybe I play too much Factorio. who knows.
Woaaa... you sound like a pro at this game! Can I describe my marble factory to you? (Can't record it, don't know how)

This is crazy - the Legend of Mikan persists in(?) our entire solar system! The hints to other races and completely alien marbles and size of the factory make this just incredible! :D

Oh, Error in the production? Ooo (look at the top at 6:33, there is a white among the magenta/pink)
With every video, we're getting deeper into MIKAN lore and the backstory of marble races
I was not expecting to see that there were a bunch of factories. This was amazing

Delivery at 8:01 on the right side is for the neverending fantastic MIKAN-WORLD. KEEP DOING! ❤🎉 PS: 8:03 really colourful and amazing marbles! (Something went wrong with the order of the planets)
Woah, this is amazing! Marble factory for every marble, basically. The designs are great too! I'm still wondering what you do with the weird random looking rainbow-thing marbles idk what to call it.
Rewatching it, imagine if there was a MIKAN channel for Mars, Venus, and Mercury! That would be really cool!
The factory must be gigantic, considering the number of different colors and patterns of marbles being manufactured. A tour of the factory floor would no doubt be quite interesting.
Awesome video as always. I love the artistic concept of marble factory :)
soooooo.... when are we getting a video with the psychodelic marbles we saw in 8:02?
マーブル工場は宇宙にあったのか……😳
The amount of implied MIKAN lore here just makes the already incredible video that much better. This factory is clearly on a different rocky body, but which is it? The factory is clearly automated and very efficient, with virtually no waste products. Who created it? What are they doing with so many marbles? Could it be that they just run an incredible number of marble races, or are there alternative uses for marbles? The capsules that turn into rockets have to be made somewhere, too. Are they *also* made of marble-matter? Is it in the same factory? Are they sent back to the factory once their delivery is complete? I feel like we're truly seeing a new MCU: a MIKAN Cinematic Universe!
This is not just a masterpiece. It shows creativity, love and confidence! Amazing work, Mikan !
This guy be making Lore around Marbles, just because he can lol. *Amazing*
MIKAN, I have been your biggest fan for YEARS! Every time I feel upset or bored I pop on one of your videos and i feel so positive! Thank you for being such a big part of my childhood!
4:27 the legend (red) is born!
“Let’s ride the mechanism!” The mechanism in question:
Mind blown the entire way through, really impressed! also if you can, can you do a tutorial on how you got the code to have the white material melt and the cyan, magenta, and yellow material get crushed into liquid?
I imagine that for the coloured ores there is probably some invisible object halfway down the grinding wheels, and when the ores hit it, they become liquid and change collision layer so that they can go through it. I'm sure there are loads of ways it can be done much more efficiently, but that's the first way I thought it could've been done
Neat addition to the lore, and love the attention to detail in the animation, especially in parts like the cases being folded up. A few little details seemed odd, and could have just a little more verisimilitude: In the initial mining segment, instead of just pulling colored rocks straight out of the walls, you could have the minerals embedded in the walls and the miners blast them out with lasers before vacuuming up the colored shards. Where the shards are separated by color with the zappers, you could also have the shards dunked in various vats that dissolve out the different colors before they’re precipitated out; that’s how a lot of chemical purification works. And how come the white material needs to be smelted to make the marbles, while the other colors can just be ground up and dunk the marbles in them?
Oh so this is how madbles get revived by getting popped, exploded, eliminated, and slowly getting burned
I just love it when it's a factory thing!
At first, at 6:50, you're confused why the cart is so empty, and then at 7:00 the reveal happens and the grand scope of things dawns on you! Amazing!!
I love marble, rainbow, and cyan

When I watch all your videos, it's clear that you are genuinely a skilled programmer. You're not just drawing a track and letting the physics engine do the rest. There's a lot of really complex interactions happening here and I think if you ever get tired of making these videos, you are well prepared to be a programmer on almost anything else you choose :)
my dream has finally came true. light monochrome and dark monochrome! And it all thanks to Mikan, I hope you can keep up all the hard work :) (btw one of the drones messed up and put a white marble onto the pink marble lane)

Good for you bro. 👍
I can name several things a normal factory wouldn’t do (this isn’t taking away from the amazing video, it’s just things I noticed) 0:47: they would keep the door holding the ore (yes, that’s what I call it) open 1:13: 1:they would have redundancy; multiple sorting lasers on each color, just to make sure absolutely nothing gets through 2: again with the doors being closed 2:04: they would have smaller crushing wheels with two wheels on each type of ore to make sure the ore would always be going down 3:42: the pigment mixers would probably be more of a blender design 4:17: instead of drones; they would probably use some sort of conveyor belt system 4:36: they would probably let the marbles through once a full set of colors was created if there’s space, leaving no downtime for the packing mechanism and reducing of a bottle neck 8:10: 1:they would probably keep the launchers on the top floor 2: they would, again, have redundant systems; multiple launchers for each planet 3:They would have earth first and not mars (pointed out to me by yourdone2307)
Don’t forget it’s Earth then Mars

My head canon is that Mikan is a game show host, who kidnaps marbles for his show. Sort of like squid game, but marbles. Then then forces them to compete in deadly games with the promise of freedom. What they don’t know is after each game they get forget about every marble who died, and the dead marbles get recreated here. Also for those of you who wonder what the show is called. I’d imagine it would be called something like “Mikan’s amazingly dangerous gameshow!”
