@@MiloMay I personally recommend also putting sentences with relevant words as flashcards together with attached audio, for more active recall. Imo output and repetition is super important too.

I see Germans speaking British english flawlessly very often. I was assuming that I had to be something to do with German itself. However, your British accent is unlike most english speaking Germans xD
hahaha that is because I lived in way too many English speaking countries, including the UK, New Zealand and Autralia and Canada, after a while my brain crashed it's true though, Germans learn British English in school, hence your experience I assume :)

@@Speechbound pretty much every German learns Brazilian Portuguese when learning Portuguese mostly because they think it "sounds nicer" and Portuguese can immediately tell you're German just by the accent no matter how hard you try to hide it because for some reason the Brazilian dialect makes the German accent pop up like a Christmas tree 🎄
