High atop a rugged hill in the heart of Central France, an imposing mansion looms, its grandeur fading with each passing day. Once the prized vacation residence of a French millionaire, this sprawling estate now languishes in abandonment, its former glory nothing but a distant memory. Its halls once resonated with joy and the clinking of glasses. In early 2010, the tycoon had the ambition to convert this estate into a luxurious hotel to accommodate guests from afar. However, financial woes led to its demise in 2014.
Today, we embark on a quest to uncover the forgotten tales that lie within its obscure walls. As daylight bathes the neglected manor, we explore its hidden depths, breathing life into its forgotten halls once more.

Such a beautiful mansion with fabulous architecture. So sad to see it deteriorating but glad there is no vandalism.
The most plausible explanation for this grand building seems that it may have been a hotel at some point.
Remon, when you were climbing the stairs, I believe the windows are made of Opaque Glass. Very nice feature to go along with this truly amazing structure!!

Hermosa mansión,creo ha de ser como una hostería,o algo similar. La decoración,para toda persona y gustos,porque había dormitorios lujosos,familia con bebés,con más o menos lujos etc. Me encantó,demasiado grande con cocinas industriales, etc. Fantástico video , felicitaciones.❤️🙌❤️

It had to have been a business at one point. Now it would need fixed up for someone with a growing family or redecorated for a nice B&B. I think with a kitchen like that they might be catering or baking for weddings. The laundry room had to be for a B&B. Great find. Enjoyed the exploration. Thank you ❤❤

A fascinating explore, Maureno and Remon! I've never seen a house quite like this, with so many endless rooms, etc. It truly was like a labyrinth or a maze. By far the kitchen was the most impressive part of the house. Incredibly large and industrial! Too bad it looks like it didn't see much use before the property's failure. Beautiful mansion but I have to agree. I love the old palaces and castles with the antique furnishings because the historic aspect is so amazing to see. This is a wonderful place but if it were mine it would be full of antiques. My home is full of antiques some that came out of Europe, in fact my bed was identical to one in a french castle Leslie explored. My daughter tells my grandchildren when they visit “Welcome to NaNa’s museum “. 😂🤣 she thinks I am reincarnated from that era. 🤣😂. Love it ❤❤ and love your Explorations. You both are awesome and so respectful! ❤❤

Wow love this place alot. Looks like a vacation home with friends and family could stay for a weekend or month. So many options it could have been?A Hotel i would not think a baby crib is in storage until reqested same idea for motel.This place is Personal Family owned. They should have a law that when places are abandoned for a little while that low income families can come in and take what they need. Better than all that stuff just sitting there.

Did he not leave this to no one?? I'm not sure what the laws are there but her in the US when no one claims it and, the government doesn't want to deal with it than it's first come first serve..a those items need to removed and given to a museum. If not than I don't blame people from removing items. I don't agree with trashing and breaking things. Things should be handled with care and packaged proper. Things left behind should be put in safe places to preserve them till the group came in. It's a sin to let it rot in a hose that will fall eventually from lack of care.. historical items needs to be saved in all places. If the county isn't going to do it than it's considered abandoned and, anyone can claim items...I sure wish I lived there.. so sad very sad.
