How A Manual Machinist Makes an Eccentric Shaft From a Large Steel Tube For a 2Ton Jaw Crusher

Great work. Good setup on the eccentric shaft and it was lovely to see the old shaper in action. Western people who make fun of these machinists have obviously never owned a lathe before! Nothing at all wrong with their skills. Remember they are doing the work as fast as possible - speed = money! Yes I am far more accurate in the work I do - but for me it is just a hobby - I could never earn money at it!
Excellent work..i am proud of all of you
Good and hard solid work but I haven't seen any tubes here 🙂
Nice, can you suggest me which type of brazed carbide tip is used for turning Hard metal in manual lathe machine
Wow awesome and cool job
WAHHHHHHHHHHH GOOD JOB
Good work
Good job
Good work, fun to watch
The hoist needs a lil lube to move.

Nice.
Well done, good job!
Good work but why don`t you clean your shop and your machines? There ist only scrap metal and dirt.
I have "just" "one" concern: The guys did not pre-lubricated the shaft when they insert-it into the block-thing-box 😭☠️
often times close enough is good enough. Also; you don't need to have the best tools to do good work ! but eeeyikes; working in robes and sandals?
first micrometer i have saw in these videos. very good.
👍👍👍👍👍💥💥💥
These people are admirable ! Which country is this??
Bradford, UK.
My guess is Pakistan. The guy has the Pakistani flag on his bike at 1:28, as well as an image of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of independent Pakistan.
@@africatwinrd03 Don't believe it's Pakistan. In Bradford, UK you can see this flag all over the town.
@@horstmuller7512 I thought you were joking.. How the hell, would this be in the UK? This is obviously in a developing country. No civilized country would let a machine shop operate with such safety standards. There is sand everywhere, and the outlets on the walls aren't UK standard. They are not even speaking English. I was guessing India or Pakistan, but no Indian in their right mind would be flying a Pakistani flag.
This is Pakistan. I work at this place myself.
I really hate it when they do all the hard work and dont clean the product they make. They should clean and polish the entire crusher before they give it back ... look at the bearing covers... full of grime and dirt... why not clean it ???
What the hell is the machine at 20:00 !!
It's called a planer I think.
It's a Shaper.
An old British or American probably shaper. Very old fashioned but very popular still. Great for keyways etc. ABOM and plenty of other KZheadrs have a love affair with shapers!
@@codprawn Howly cow.
Nothing wrong with it, what can't be fixed with a handfull of dirt extra.
At 11:30 ...
OSHA would not approve…l9l
Religion does not allow coolant to be used?
You don't really need coolant when using carbide tools. I only use it for parting off and drilling these days. Chips a nice blue colour coming off.
@@codprawn Yes, but with cooling the surface is cleaner
