I love the attention to detail, but those juices and milk go bad within a few days of being open so you significantly reduce their shelf life transferring all of them into different containers at once. And if you wash your strawberries and blueberries all at once they grow mold quicker. It's much better to wash them as needed.
No it's better to wash them in vinegar water right away and put them in a sealed container in the refrigerator -it makes them last a lot longer....they go bad quicker in their original box-I've tested it myself

I saw the Kerrygold in the fridge and got so anxious for her at the idea of using it rock hard from the fridge. I’m Irish and most of us leave it out so it’s more easy to use day to day for making sambos and adding to toast 😅😂

I’m not understanding why we are taking things out of containers- just to put it in another container- 🤷♀️. And then wash the container after every food/liquid- I understand organizing a pantry or chips bags, etc- idk, guess to each their own!
Something to think about is the germs on these containers, during Covid it was suggested to wipe containers/food items(milk/juice cartons, egg cartons,etc)before putting them in the fridge they hold germs for a long time, for some it helps to just transfer it to a containers that you washed
She doesn’t want to put the container that has been everywhere in her fridge, by simply transferring the contents she can discard the packaging.

I just have one question, where does all the extra go? There was obviously juice left over. Where does it go? As esthetically pleasing as this is, it's just not practical for most people. I just don't understand why people are putting things in other containers than what they came in. The fruit I get but things like juice and even the laundry things, etc. There is extra left over and and then your left with having to find storage for that or consume it right away. To me it seems more wasteful in the long run. But hey, what do I know.

This was my exact thought. Like I understand transferring from one container to another for storage purposes like maybe the original packaging just couldn't fit in the fridge. But if there is product leftover, in this case the juices - where do the bottles go? Because once opened they have to be refrigerated. So, the bottles have to be in the fridge anyway... Maybe she has a mini fridge elsewhere and she adds those to the glass containers when they are low. Or she has small mason jars to pour the leftovers and we just didn't see that clip.
It probably goes in the garage fridge. Most people (with families)I know have a second fridge somewhere, usually in the garage.

I disagree, this is not always the rule. Sometimes transferring is great. Helps keep stuff organized and easy to pickup and use. Sometimes the bottles are so awkward and bulky putting it in my own container can save space. Always wash veggies and fruit. ALWAYS. You can put them in an air tight container. I eat so many of my fruits that way. Nothing goes to waste when everything is where I can see it and is clean and ready to eat.

Washing fruits & veggies in a water/vinegar solution kills the bacteria on them, making them last a lot longer before spoiling. Especially organics.

My kind of person. I love buying bulk. I have one son and when he comes home to visit and brings friends, they will definitely drink and eat plenty, and when i cook i take food to my brothers. So believe me, nothing is wasted or is too much. They love it.

Blame the store for the packaging. She’s using glass containers. Plastic use is a huge problem and we all need to work to decrease it. What have you done about it in your community
@@SE-gs6gd go to the market and buy loose vegetables which i then bring home in my own re-usable bags for example? Here we also separate our waste so that plastic, paper, foodscraps and whatever rest waste is left get picked up and handled separarely for recycling. I also try to consume less or buy products in easily recyclable packaging and try to prevent eating highly processed foods, so i hardly ever order out and almost always cook for myself with fresh ingredients. For holidays i prevent going by airplane and you’ll never ever find me on a cruiseship. My commute to work i do as often as possible by bicycle and if i do it by car it’s with my tiny 3 cylinder 1.0 liter car.

The biggest trick corporations ever played on society was convincing the individual that they are the ones who should help control wastage. That the onus falls on them. When these corporations are the biggest creators of single use waste especially plastic on the planet. The onus should fall on THEM as if they changed how they make use of products THEY would have the biggest positive impact on the environment. But no it’s the little guy that has to make sure they recycle and carry their reusable grocery bags- which we are all happy to do- but that is a drop in the bucket compared to what actual corporations big pharma big tech could do for our planet. Your scorn is sorely misplaced

I do think you get more of that than other influencers for some reason, but please don't let it stop you from making shorts if thats what you like to do. I think your videos have a better and more delaxing pace than even the more popular videos, and the speed at which you show things lets me actually get an idea of how to clean these things and see what youre using.
