1,202 here, but I’ve only had this Beedrill since 2020 and had a long break in the middle of it.
Not a new feature, it was in the bug out event 2 years ago. But last time it needed 3 or more trainers to trigger the bug spawns and now we're down to 2. Time for rural players to break out the alt phones lol.
I'm not even rural. I'm just typically too busy to organize with the local playgroup. Thankfully my kid has an account for 2 person events.

You mentioned no new Pokemon released in this event. I saw the other day that there has not been a single new Pokemon released in the wild this year. A few have been released in raids and eggs. But we are now 25% of the way through the year without a new wild Pokemon. If they really want to get us out playing, stop with such a slow trickle release of Pokemon.

Don’t know why they didn’t use the “new” feature to incentivize in person raid from the start. Would be cool if they even did rotations every month for the rare spawns. Or even have events that are little underwhelming unlocked like that.
It’s part of keeping the game alive. This happens in most games. Companies have bugs fixes/features but release as time goes on cause if they were to release everything at once, the game(s) can get very stale.

Cool event, bonuses are neat! Bug type is the least desirable of all the types. The End
This new feature has a ton of potential. Imagine if something similar happened when you put certain pokemon in a gym. You put a bunch of normal type in a gym and for 15 min you get more spawns with a higher chance of a chansey or Snorlax. Place dragon types and drqgon types spawn for 15 min etc etc. Or my favourite. Place a certain combination of 6 pokemon (like entering a sort of 6 digit PIN) and it spawns a certain pokemon. Maybe with a shiny boost.

Idk if you have made a vid on this or if it's an old feature, but I found out that you can tap on your buddy area next to you, scroll to the bottom and evolve from there
For Mega Heracross Raid Day the shiny odds most likely will be 1/10 despite the usual Mega Raids Shiny odds as Mega Kangaskhan and Garchomp Raid Days were 1/10 and im pretty sure Mega Gyarados was aswell. So the rates should be 1/10 during the Raid Day and from Remote invites from other peoples Raid Day Raids, but outside of that they will be the usual Mega Raid Shiny odds
Yeah I was like there is no way heck the only thing to incentivize would be energy and extra passes without boosted odds after all heracross is not new so making those odds so high would just suck I’ve played a lot and I think only once ever got a shiny 1/64 from mega raids outside raid days

Bagon event just happened and for the 3 hrs I caught 700+ and 27 of them was shiny
That buddy ar thing is turned off. Theres this glitch that i and many people had where they couldn't play and give buddy treats without using the the quick treat option. It would say device not compatible with ar. It happened to some people not all though

In Pokemon Go how to decide ranking when a Pokemon showcases two or more Pokemon pts were come to tie ? It should be counted by first come first serve.
On days when we can get and use more remote raid passes am I able to hold all of them at once? And if so, do I lose any the next day or if I collect 20 do I get to keep all 20 into the following day?
No 1/10 shiny rate is crazy, although I’m pretty sure it is 1/10 bc every other raid day it has been and in the news it says increased chance to encounter shiny heracross

That is a good question, are we talking about stats, or if they are just up, I guess we could focus on who is the ultimate bug in pokemon go, let's focus on who can fly because they have to be the most up, some examples are vivillion or cutiefly so on and so forth, now, there are some bug types that don't show them flying but can still fly, but we're focusing on who is the most up, so we're leaving out the ones who are not really shown up, so this leaves us with a bunch, I lowered it to, beutifly, dustox, vivillion, beedrill, butterfree, venomoth yanma, combee, and vespiqueen, because they look the most bug that look like they are flying, we will get rid of yanma, dustox and venomoth because they don't look bug enough, so let's lower it down to four, beutifly, beedrill, vivillion, and butterfree, let's get rid of beutifly because in my opinion butterfree beats beutifly, and let's get rid of vivillion as well leaving us with butterfree and beedrill, and since beedrill can mega evolve and looks more bug im going to have to say that beedrill is the ultimate bug that is up, and remember this is just my opinion, in conclusion beedrill (in my opinion) is the best bug that is up.
Yes it’ll be interesting to see if these extra spawns actually show up. Elite raids….nothing. Comm days….very little. So they need to fix this process and actually make it work.

No shiny is common until it gets a comday or at least permaboost
Any raid day pokemon has 1/10 chance to be shiny, no matter if mega or primal or legendary
but why does it only spawn pokemon around a gym, if you do the raid with one other person. what if i solo raid a legendary, shouldn't i be rewarded with some spawns for doing that?
