The elite naval massacre is here! Each faction has one elite naval unit available for 2000 resources each. They are not identical units and come with many advantages and disadvantages with each other.
Aircraft Carrier is a strong naval unit which so far has proven to be the most damaging unit against structures. Howewer, in most cases it's very unpractical and would probably be less effective than the other two. It can not be promoted itself which means it will never upgrade its health and move speed. Hornets are instantly promoted when destroying or killing but they are also instantly shot down so the scenario of a full promoted Aircraft Carrier seems impossible. Lastly, the Aircraft Carrier takes much more time to attack since the hornets need to return and if they are shot down it takes even more for them to respwn.
When talking about siege the Dreadnought has no equal. It has a very long range, same as the aircraft carrier, and it attacks very fast with two missiles each time. It's real strength comes when it gets promoted dealing amazing damage in a huge area to everything. Literally it can decimate everything in one or maximum two shots making it one of the heaviest damage dealers in the game.
Boomer is by far the most useful naval unit. The strength and advantages it has over the others are way too many. It is a submarine so it's invisible, it has no rival in a 1v1 naval fight, it can attack both land and naval units, it has strong siege, it has the best health around and of course it can come early in the game as it doesn't require Battle Lab.

With a bit of micro and good timing, you can destroy two separate targets with each missile.
actually it is not true. The missiles are fired before the target being damaged, though the missiles are just on the deck of dreadnought.
It's great that the Dreadnought fires an extra volley at every target after it's already destroyed and is still twice as fast as the aircraft carrier.
Aircraft Carrier is best on engaging moving units and has no minimum range. Dreadnought has the highest damage output. Boomer is the most versatile.
I think boomer is a bit op cuz it so versatile (even itself is submarine). Plus with some reason squid did't parasite to lock down it....
Boomer is the most versatile is an overstatement. Boomer is the only ship a yuri can build. It's just a combination of all the game ships put together and divided by 2.

In the Soviet Mission 5 ("Escape velocity"), there is a menace of Yuri's miners entering your base and mining your ore fields. I used to destroy the miners with the starting Dreadnoughts, which easily get promoted this way.

Aircraft Carriers were easily my favourite naval siege unit since they could overwhelm any kind of AA defenses with enough Hornets. It was basically impossible to break through AA lines with Dreadnoughts and Boomers....but the real fun begins when you get them to elite. The elite Dreadnought can destroy ANY structure in the game with just two missiles short of superweapons.
Not if you're attacking a soviet base. Flaks with their AoE damage would chew through those Hornet squadrons.

You also forgot to show that Elite Dreadnought missiles if destroyed in Air can badly damage any Structures and Aircrafts nearby, their missiles are literal flying bomb trucks.

It's only when you have detection units around the Carrier is like "Nope, can't hit that all of a sudden" Also, notice how when the Dreadnaught fires, if you cancel the attack after one missile is deployed, the ship model shows it with two on the deck... it's only when both are deployed that it goes to the empty ship model.

Nice video man.Another point carriers have advantages againts dread-boomer is fallen hornet always do damage when crashed, few are no problem, but when you have a hornet rain, even best anti-air well defendended bases have a problem, carriers are good to air defenses. Another problem of boomer-dread is the missile distance, missiles are more hard to break when are almost landing,so it is better atack always in fire maximum range.

Kirov has advantage of mobility, apocalypse is landed, and dreadnought is marine or water side advantage. If the fog of war is there you can't hit anything. Same goes to apocalypse. If there is obstacles in front, apocalypse need to blast through it first before reaching it target. But in this question, damage was ask then sure is dreadnought

Notif squad checking in. Haven't finished video yet but lots of interesting tidbits learned halfway into the video. Edit: Finished the video and the gods have spoken. Elite Dreadnought deals the highest damage while Kirov is the least but little difference with Apocalypse. Dread vs. Apoc has a large damage gap.
The Boomer has another advantage over the carrier and dreadnought by being lower on the tech tree. You can get it early enough to rush the enemy base before they even have any naval structures, and all they can do is try to move their base further inland.
Even being giant sea vessels the carriers fulfill the role of assassins... damn this game is so well made

The Aircraft Carrier seems to trade AOE and sustain for extreme burst alpha. Interesting.
Allied units all have precision, only the Prism Tank has splash damage, and that is random targeting. The Soviets all have AOE apart from the Conscript, Typhoon and Boris.
Also looks like it might be capable of getting through thicker anti-air to deal at least some damage to a target. At a cost of a large downtime of rebuilding the Hornets, of course

As you pointed out that aircraft carriers have the attack and move advantage against the dreadnoughts, I think there something you forgot to mention in the last video. When using destroyers against submarines, you don’t simply let them wait for the anti-sub plane strike again. There’s a great interval between each strike from the plane, the destroyer could just run away instead of taking damage. I think the destroyers are a little faster than the subs, maybe I’m wrong here but what I’m sure of is that subs cannot attack while moving, thus kiting the subs is possible.
Destroyers should work in threes at least to immediately take down subs. Subs cannot attack while moving but are faster than Destroyers, plus when not attacking they are invisible.

I could a swore you could obtain a promoted aircraft carrier. Just have it sit next to a crate when you have another unit pick it up. If it's a promotion crate, it'll apply to the carrier since it was in crate range. Only thing notable is the faster jet release.
One funny thing I saw was when I had floating discs and rocketeers get shot down (indirectly by dreadnoughts) when they fired at the missiles of an elite dreadnought. that splash damage isn't just for ground units.

A thing with the Carrier that might not be obvious with your testing that it's able to more easily penetrate bases with air defenses. Consider the following. A Patriot Battery or Flak Gun fires at a fixed rate and can often shoot down one or both of the missiles launched by a single Boomer or Dreadnought. The Carrier's third fighter has the ability to more often get past air defenses as it requires a third shot to hit them. Sure the plane will probably be shot down but there's a better chance that that plane will get through and with the Carrier's high damage per plane it means that one plane that gets through deal damage to a target while the Boomer and Dreadnought are giving the defenders a fireworks show!

The Aircraft Carrier is mostly likely to deal damage to it's target in its first attack. Once the planes are down, it becomes really bad since you either have to wait or keep trying to attack while the hornets are available one by one.

I really like the Dreadnought. However when it comes down to a real experienced player fight, the Aircraft carrier and the boomer are superior. Aircraft Carrier: 1 The fact, that the Fighters bomb and do damage before they will be shot down. -> brings superior in "real" Sieges szenarios with enemy Anti - Air 2 The fact, that the Fighters follow targets -> makes the Aircraft carrier far more useable in a real See fight or againt land units 3 The fact, that you can switch target during a Bomb run -> brings the Aircraft Carrier more tactical advantages The Boomer : 4 is a good allround unit, therefore can be used as single unit or in a combined fleet. 5 Stealth ability - can be used for ambushes and one boomer can operate alone. Conclusion: A Aircraft Carrier without support is weak in comparison to the Boomer. Supported with a Cruiser, a Dolhpin and a few Destroyers, the Aircraft carrier becomes the best of all three Elite Naval units. The Dreadnought is nearly helpless without support. You can protect the Dreadnought with other See Units, but the Dreadnought cant support the other untis well in a see fight. See Fact 2-3 and for a see to base Siege fight you need more Dreadnoughts as aircraft carriers to be effectiv in siege See fact 3. This means, you has less money for other see units, I know, someone dont want to hear that, but this facts makes the Dreadnought to the weakest of all Elite Naval Units! (in a experienced PvP Game) -> Only if you manage it somehow to get a Elite Dreadnought, then the Dreadnought becomes a real thread ;) Cheers

Dreads are more useful in situations where u want to kill of critical structures tho, like battle lab, SW , barracks/war factories or industrial/purifier, their high dmg per missle gives enemy a shorter time to react (Here I meant selling of structure to regain cash, and moving mcv), as the callouts come later than aircrafts. The aircrafts carriers chasing tanks could also backfire real bad if you are not paying attention, as the aircrafts chase the enemy tanks up until the shore allows enemy tanks to fire upon ur aircrafts and most of the time losing it. The aircrafts themselves are really weak too, making anti-air (epecially soviets ones) a nightmare to deal, especially the long reload time, with while dread missles tend to land on target (This is assuming ur playing on balanced maps, and you dont have the ability to spend that much money on anti-air, obviously to not go broke and die to tanks instead) *this also means korea is also a bad idea if you're trying to go heavy naval as they would probably have existing anti air since u probably use jets b4, unless ur trying to juke him or something.
You really just said the shit Aircraft is the worst at damage, versatility, rate of fire and there is no naval units that can do this useless piece of feces useful. There is no meaning in accuracy when there is a lot of land units that can to destruct enemies way more effectively and cheaper Boomer is versatile, so it can really do things unlike stupid and useless aircraft, but damage is pretty bad, so it is not as great as dreadnought Dreadnought is the best in fact, that is an axiom that cannot be refused never. Its damage is incredible, and that allows you to dominate pretty easily unlike aircraft, that can only be drowned while don't inflict any damage "Experienced", lol. I'd rather take the Dreadnought and Boomer. The thing with Aircraft carriers is that the hornets have very little health. A base with good AA can easily nullify the Carrier, especially if it's a Soviet base due to the fact that Flak weaponry have Splash damage. Dreadnoughts and Boomers can just continuously bombard the enemy base with the fast reload on their missiles. You can overwhelm the AA by just ordering your Boomers/Dreadnoughts to fire at different targets. Their AA will have more time to shut down a lot of missiles that are flying at different directions.
Back in the days when there were no outros. Time flew so fast. It’s more fun to watch when there is outros though because it’s so entertaining. Always lots of support for tgsacred all the way 😇
I forgot how ridiculously OP Boomers were. Available once you have a Naval Pen and Radar, attacks both naval units and sieges enemy bases, easy to promote, more powerful when promoted... If you ever play a Yuri player in a water filled map, you are finished unless you do a early rush or mass your own ships.
What about an elite Dreadnought vs equal value of elite V3's on time to destroy a base? Still reckon the Dreadnought would win.
If you order the Dreadnought to attack, and cancel the order just as the missile sprites change it will only fire one rocket, but also RETAIN two rockets loaded. (If you issue an attack order before the single missile is launched though you will lose it) I don't know if this is actually good to do, but I usually play around with it.
It would be interesting to compare units such as Apocalypse, Prism tank, V3, Boomer or Dreadnought with the Soviet nuclear superweapon in terms of one shot damage to structures. P. S. Btw, is it possible somehow to attack naval units with terror drone?
I really do wish the aircraft carrier was buffed a little bit... Maybe faster aircraft? or even if they are shot down, new ones keep promotions... after all, the aircraft are actually drones, the pilots would be remote operators and their skill should be transferable to the next drone

another thing about elite dreadnaughts and boomers is that if their missiles are shot down, they still explode in the air. i can't tell you how many Yuri bases i saw where floating disks or soviet bases had their discs and kirovs blasted out of the skies because my dreadnaught's missiels blew up in the air.

I assume the Aircraft Carrier is the only one who can easily defend itself from Navy Seal/Tanya, Yuri Prime and Robot Tank.
I have a question. What deals higher burst damage between 1 Dread and 3 V3s? Lets make this clear, 'burst' referred to one of the parameter found in "rules.ini" file, it dictate how many shot a unit fire in a single attack (i.e. Elite Apoc: Burst=4 thus it fire 4 shots). In case of Carrier, Dread, V3, it called 'spawn' which dictate how many Hornet, Dread Missile or V3 Rocket can be launched in a single attack). You might ask "why 3 V3s against 1 Dread?". I'll give you a straight forward answer so you wouldn't have to test it yourself. Dread Missile deal more damage than V3 Rocket (both are basic).

Can you test construction? Like when you have no power how many construction yard is enough to have the same building speed when power is on? And test with barracks , war factory , ship yard ect.
If I recall correctly there are differences in speed between low power with little gap and no power at all.

Alas, allies get screwed yet again. I still like aircraft carriers and you don't normally send one carrier, send a few and that's a lot of damage in one strike.
The obvious takeaway from this is as follows: Aircraft Carrier - Pros: Can target enemy units very easily, the hornets don't miss much, can reach veteran very easily, can deal the most single target damage in one attack of the bunch. Cons: Extremely long intervals between attacks make their attacks slow, very vulnerable to subs, every time the hornets die; you basically revert back to non-veteran status. Soviet Dreadnought - Pros: No equal for base demolition, Veteran status is awe-inspiring and devastating. Cons: Extremely vulnerable to enemy attacks, has no answer for close range, Can miss if the target is mobile. Yuri Boomer Submarines - Pros: Basically the cross of 2 Typhoon Subs and a Dreadnought, the most tanky of the Naval Siege units, Doubles as a general attack/siege unit. Cons: Can't do both things at once, not very mobile, has no anti-air support out at sea, can miss if the target is mobile

tbf the vote was a bit ambiguous, since it just said "highest damage". Didn't specify whether it was single salvo, or DPS; nor the type of target being attacked, and what sort of resistance said shots would encounter (if any).

People who answered elite Kirov was better than an elite dreadnought obviously don’t play the game very much. I would still want an elite apocalypse over Kirov too. Kirov can’t attack other air units. UFOs, rocketeers and siege copters can have a field day attacking Kirov’s.
Are you sure about aircraft carrier and dreadnough have the same firing range?. I've tested mine and it seems that carrier have slight more firing range.
I tested myself and I didn't notice any difference. Can't be 100% sure but I believe they do have the same range.

Carrier is not really for land attack, in land attack AAs are everywhere, it takes too long to respawn a new aircraft. Instead, it's perfect for land support and navy dominance(as in real life), with destroyer presence it can take out subs too. Dreadnought is pure land attack like V3, that's why it's so powerful. Boomer can't be too good in land attack, it got two jobs to do, can't make it too OP.

the only downside of dreadnought long range attack with AA unit especially gattling tank with tank bunker and non elite nor veteran aegis missile can;t even hit the target useless on map with a very few water.
