Automatic transmission cooler lines run up to the radiator into a cooler in the radiator.
So excited for the manual swap! Also Nate's R33 was amazing :D
Loving the increased variety in background tunes! Auto trans cooler lines typically go to the bottom of the radiator on most cars, or a separate cooler in the front.

Not sure if you already figured it out, but the trans cooler is incorporated into the radiator on most auto Toyotas 👍 great video and can't wait for some clutch kicks in this thing
The automatic trans cooler is in the bottom of the radiator and you can use it as an oil cooler if you want after the conversion

The auto cooler lines go to the radiator..change the radiator or block the bungs on the current one
Don't forget to replace the pilot bearing. Make sure the drive shaft fits, it might be too long if your saying that the auto trans is longer.

You might as well do the turbo elbow, and downpipe now that you've removed the cat. You'll gain some modest HP as well.

Noticed that you didn't unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel before you removed the transmission. Normally the torque converter stays with the transmission. I did basically the same manual conversion to my supra on my channel if you need any help 🙃

apparently you can just flip the auto crossmember upside down and it works with the r154 but you you need a r154 trans mount

i see that kinda sus sticker. fellow among us player here. i gotta get some stickers on my car but idk if i can being im going into a profession where my appearance and professionalism matters. ill see. i got a 2014 vw golf and i want to get the 2011 gti steering wheel on it maybe get a audi 4.2l v8 and install a manual trans, right now its auto. i might have to get a aftermarket ecu or the gti ecu but im not sure. def cant do it yet though.

No wait You have the wrong gearbox. The 6 speed is what you need. Jokes. But if u watch tavarishes supra build. there is a good conversion for a 6 speed gearbox that is very cost effective that involves an adapter plate ect.
i'll be lookinng at other options if this one blows up hahahaha

Why waste such good money on an r154 when the ar5 is stronger and way cheaper?

@@unheimliche9410 the AR5 is essentially an R154 box, it is manual. @Callum Hennessy I believe the R154 is more popular as you can still buy them brand new from Toyota.
it's easier to do, might do an ar5 later downn the line
@@RexH no difference in difficulty really but up to you of course. They are identical casings with stronger and newer internals. Top and remote mount shifter options too. Plus they don't cost you 2.5k either.
@@Vaatzes its not about popularity. The ar5 is basically identical just with newer and stronger internals. You can definitely buy ar5s new as well but they don't cost as much and 2nd hand are cheaper than w series boxes
