Pawel Nastula is Polish judoka and MMA fighter who competed in -95 kg (Judo), +93 kg (MMA) weight categories. P. Nastula was 2 times World Judo champion and 1 time Olympic gold medalist. He is one of the most successful Polish judokas of all time. He was famous for his Kuchiki Taoshi (single leg takedown) and brilliant Seoi Otoshi, he also had solid ground game.

  • Gdyby Paweł od razu po zakończeniu kariery w Judo, wziął się ostro za treningi MMA, miałby szanse zostać legendą również w tym sporcie. Trudno jednak oprzeć się wrażeniu że nie miał pasji do tego wcale.

  • 2:28 Pawel Nastula vs Josh Barnett. Nastula was a gold medalist at the Atlanta summer games in 92. Josh Barnett advocates the promotion of catch wrestling. Nastula prevails with no-gi kosoto gake. That's how the samurai brought their opponents to the ground for top control. They wore body armor and would use body locks more then gripping to a gi.
