You can reduce the delay by having a dispenser shoot an arrow through a portal and hit a target block to create the input. Then you would truly be thinking with portals
Can you also just connect redstone dust through the portals? That would be interesting if it worked
@@athomesuperhero Sadly no, as the portal is sort of on the halfway mark on the blocks that make up the edge of the portal. In other words, one block that spans two dimensions is ACTUALLY only one-half of a block from each. Also, the portals themselves technically count as a block, so redstone dust can't be placed there.

You can use a larger portal if the ratio of the height to length is the same. The bigger portal will look smaller in the smaller one, and the smaller one will look bigger through the larger portal. Also if you have Pekhui installed you will change sizes

When I make red stone contraptions that require more than 15 redstone dust chained together, instead of using repeaters, I use sticky pistons and redstone blocks. It works like a charm most of the time
