  • 赵紫骅的《爸，你在哪里》depicts a common situation of many poor village families in China where the fathers (or both parents) have to live and work in cities far away from home to earn money to sustain the survival of their family members back home. Their children are mostly left behind and taken care of by other close family members, especially the grandmothers or grandfathers. Those families that were not broken apart due to such poverty are truly amazing social realities. This song uses an unlucky child’s complaints and desire for a precious paternal care and love that were miserably missed throughout the childhood to describe the pain and losses that deeply infected the child’s life memories. The painful childhood memory remained in the child until one day, after as well experiencing many challenges and obstacles in life, he/she started to realize and then sympathizes with the father for the hardships that he had gone through in the past many years at distant places. Eventually, the child is able to feel the father’s unspoken love and sacrifice, forgives the father’s inability and thanks him for letting him/her become a useful, stronger and more independent person. The enjoyment of 赵紫骅‘s songs is more than listening to a well written, nice tunes that are sung by a gifted singer. The power of Chinese language with its long-lived impressive abundant historic richness of meaning, culture, artistic calligraphy and pleasant sounding had been skillfully applied and illustrated in the lyrics of the songs. 赵紫骅‘s songs can easily hook you deeply into your emotion because their contents closely relate to most people’s life experiences. What I really enjoy and appreciate is that at the end, his song would gently lift you out of the moody state by making a conclusion that tinkle your mentality with a sense of agreement or satisfaction to what he intended to say and describe in the songs. For example, the song《爸，你在哪里》first complains about the father’s absence and carelessness but finally thanks him for whatever having happened in the past. You should find similar attempts in his previous competing songs《一滴泪的时间》,《因为你来过》,《怪我更爱我自己》and《理由》. Although 赵紫骅 was not selected to be one of the finalist competitors in Sing!China 2020, I think he will become a marvelous exceptional talented icon and model for others to follow and learn to become better Chinese singers and song writers for years to come.

  • 唱一首歌犹如写一篇文章。音色与技巧是文章中的美丽的辞藻和的字体。重要么？重要！ 但一首歌一篇文真正重要的是要表达给听者读者的感情内核。是创作力。赵紫骅一次又一次的用歌里的情感打动了我。可惜走了。没事儿，你出专辑我买。你唱歌我听。

  • 幼年的时候父亲一直在外地当兵，退役的时候来我已经上了中学，也许是少年的叛逆让我花了很久的时间才去接受他，也是父爱让我慢慢改变。这首歌给我很大的共鸣，是首好作品，我会记住他，希望可以看到赵老师出专辑。

  • 這首歌真的打動了我⋯ 幼時父母離異後我與父親失聯，自己努力的長大，移居海外。三年前我在我父母當年懷我的年紀也結婚懷孕了⋯ 隨著我的老父親一句對不起，我們雖然一直沒機會再見面，但是恢復了聯繫，反覆聽了四遍。也把這首歌發給了我的老父親。 希望我們的下一代可以有個圓滿快樂的童年。

  • I broke into tears listening to this song. I always missed my dad when I was little. He worked very hard and had to stay in the shipyard for long period. If he came back, the family will be in poverty for a period. Once he went Medan, he came back to tell me a story. He bought a pair of shoes for a little girl in Medan, and he told me that we were still able to give. I lost my dad in 2005, he was a quiet man, but he never walked away from me at my hardest time. This is a very meaningful song to me.

  • Actually eliminate him also good cause he should ride on the fame of this show. If he won, they prolly will tie him down with a contract or something. Just look at the previous winners of sing China, all nowhere to be seen or heard. Those that gained attention and traction during the competition but was sent home became more famous. This competition was good for him as it gave him + his song writing skills exposure which was exactly what he needed. Looking forward to see what’s he gna do in the future. He’s gna be big

  • 一首歌就是要表达一种情感，传递一种情绪，让人能够共鸣 赵紫骅的这首歌，那犹如往昔画面重现的歌词，那起起伏伏的旋律，那真情的完美演唱，带着所有人回到过去，走过父亲缺失的童年，少年。那种遗憾，随着长大，渐渐的理解，仿佛回头看到了父亲的身影，他并不缺失，他一直在那里！一首歌能做到的极致就是这样了，哪怕是歌神张学友来唱他最经典的歌，我个人也不觉得能胜过此刻这首“爸，你在哪里” 这是音乐创作与演绎的最完美的一次诠释！ 不知道赵紫骅能不能看到，如果能，希望你能再继续，继续感悟人生与生活，拓展创作风格！世间百态，人伦千奇，凭你的才能，无不可创作，无不可演绎！

  • I love this song! I can’t believe he lost this round. What were the people thinking???? The biggest upset of the whole competition!! I believe this song belongs in the “classic” category. It’s that good!! The song makes me cry when I think about my dad.

  • 赵紫骅也许输在他已经是一个签约歌手了， 而且和李宇春，谢霆锋他们以前都在各个选秀中合作过。 好声音是不会去抬举一个别人公司的歌手。 但不管怎样， 他不是输在实力。 这些所谓 “专业评委” 就是一群乌合之众， 完全不用高看他们， 根本谈不上什么专业和权威性。

  • My most looking forward singer in VOC. Sings into my heart, meaningful & touching. Tells a story relating to many. He lost but won many of our hearts. Shows like VOC should be thankful to have singer songwriters like him. :(
