I feel PLO will eventually take over the top poker spot one day as it definitely has more action. Quite a few times, people call big bets when drawing to the nuts.

The 1/2 PLO game at Orange City is WILD on the weekends. Love taking a shot at that game it's almost always a fun group of people, too. Glad you are dipping into it!
I played 1/2 PLO for the second time in my life last week and made 2k in 90 minutes. The second largest cash of my life, normally a 1/2 NLH player. Poker is fun!! 🎉🤑💵. Good luck in Kentucky.

Nice job on the Royal in PLO! Many years ago for a local "restaurant poker" tourney, I had four to a spade royal on the board--and had the queen of spades to make it happen.

Had the royal flush once and had to fold. 3cards were in my hand. That game is frustrating for me. Congrats on the Royal.

Especially after your raise, the gamble in me would have called it off with the nut flush and full house outs! Full triple up plus the pot which you helped build.
Absolutely. Must call with 2 pair and nut flush draw for possible triple up. Not looking for a 5 or 7, but they block the board pairing....
Are you planning on playing more PLO? It seems next up after NLHE. I don't know if I can handle the swings though

5:20 KKxx with three hearts. Look at a flop for a reasonable price, but snap fold to any action on the flop when you miss it all. You might be "ahead" technically, but you almost never have the most equity, particularly multi-way. #notaploexpert but this one isn't close.
the last few weeks, been playing a house game $100 buy-in with button option to do a 5 card Omaha Lockout.... I will tell you, the most money i've ever made is playing that. Being able to fold is a must but for me, the last 4 weeks have been my best sun run profiting over $3k and averaging just around $800 every Friday night.
Plo is fun always had to play online ... next time I get down to AC if I'm up in hold em I might take a shot at omaha .. even if I'm down I may do it
I've suggested this to other vloggers, but *particularly* if you're going to show us PLO (🥰) how about four-color card graphics? The smaller the cards, the harder it is to see the suit shapes. As every four-color card advocate points out: (a) if they were inventing a deck of playing cards today, how many colors would it have, and (b) everybody that plays online uses four-color cards. It's 2023, let's get crazy and have four-color card graphics.

Quite enjoyed the PLO for a change.(but I don't think you were dealt KK enough😆)
Been playing plo 2x a week. I still play mostly hold em, but it;s fun to mix in. I'm still learning it but so far I find..... Plenty of soft games at low stakes, even for me.... Position is huge, and most play far too wide a range, and too may hands. For me it seems like decisions are easy when shallow, and much harder when deep.

PLO is a chasers game. You can be a statistical favorite and not even have a pair. It's very easy to go broke.

I don't get the post flop pot bet at 14:20. With that many in the hand, you're either committed or a Sally. Let THEM bet to increase your EV

That guy always says "if you've got it you've got it" its his thing. He doesnt always have the nuts but he always has straight/flush when he says it

KKT5ds is not "premium". It's not even playable from the SB unless you know you have loose passive players or are closing the action. And QdTx9d is NOT a good flop to continue barreling - you are NEVER getting action from worse; and it's just so likely that your opponents have hands like AdXdYZ, AKJX for a made straight and redraw to a higher straight, made sets, flush draws + dubblegutter SDs...
On the hand where the deuces came up, it didn’t matter if someone had a deuce or not because there was an ace on board. So they would have had to have an ace also and since you had two I your hand the likely hood of them was slim at best. You lost a some value on the river

The first hand you showed, shouldn't be a question of "was I ahead with my KK or did I make the right call?" Because to win a hand in PLO you must show all 4 cards. If he showed you the winning flush with K3D then you should know the other two.

PLO is different. AA is just a pair and gets killed more often than not. A set is NOT the nuts. NEVER slow play the nuts as the nuts can change on every street. NO FREE DRAWS.

Holy fukc that 6842 with diamons is a bad fold from opponent, its just a horrible fold, Especially on the turn, i get folding the nuts on the flop but on the turn WITH a redraw? no, im not folding that for any amount.
You should never assume your opponent has Quads... Go for value.....
Don’t put all ur money in no draw with one pair. Also if u flop a straight without a redraw ur pretty much drawing dead
Guy that folded the nuts with redraw to the flush needs to gets his eyes, brain, and soul checked and cleaned. Especially after putting 600$ raise. That has to be the worst fold in human history.
More PLO. The pros in holdem are killing the game by not talking headphones in and taking for on decisions just to raise.

No the KK82 is a terrible call in PLO, and no you are not ahead of wraps either, especially if he's got a pair with it, you are behind Pair+fd aswell, KK82 is basically never good on this board.

@@peteranthony1211 I've already struggled with many forms of gambling, NLH makes you keep your head in the game, whether you have chips in the middle or not, it's a constant battle of wits, not for the player with no patience, if you're looking for a big score, you will certainly have problems.
Buddy! All I can tell you is that you need to study a whole lot about PLO. Most of the hand you played where played poorly and mistakes were plenty.
This isn’t meant to come off mean but it undoubtedly will because online but you definitely aren’t a PLO player. The way some of these hands were played ranged from poor to flat out awful. I’d love to see more PLO vlogs but you should invest some time in to learning how to play.
