You fooled me with the apple, and the only reason I got the pear was because I remembered what the stem looked like. You did an amazing job! :)
Same but the only reason i got the pear was that i recognized the shape of the “imperfections”
@@SugarT.ts_ Me too :D The apple was harder, the stem helped there :D But without seeing how they were made, I would have NO IDEA... Superbly made!
I memorized its scars💀
I was almost fooled, but I the water droplets were a dead giveaway. They were very even and kinda too close. I was even looking for bigger globs of gel for those bigger oblong bubbles.
I got it because the lighting was off in the texture of the cake.
Alright so I was pretty confident that after watching you make them I could pick the right one. I was like “the middle Apple is slightly darker but she got it pretty dang close” AND THEN YOU CUT THE LEFT ONE.
Me too, I thought the middle apple was the cake.
I also thought it was the middle one
Yep, that got me too. I thought it was the middle one.
Same!
I knew the cake apple was the left one.
The hyper-realism special effects cake could work well on a movie set where the script calls for someone to eat something gross. They can really be eating cake.
But what about the cake crumbs in the close shots?
The reflection on the apple was all that gave it away. The cake reflection was unlike the other two. Pear: The freckles on real pears are smaller, almost pin-like. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ART ❤
Not only that, but also the colors.
The cake apple has water droplets everywhere, while the other 2 had some spots with no water. That was really close though, it was tough to find the difference
Yea they were somewhat small too. And the pain strokes from above where the stem sits is how I knew.
I could tell the apple from the thumbnail alone bc the water droplets are more even, and tend to have a perfect shape. The real water drops were dripping and more random. Still, had to stare at that thumbnail for a few good solid minutes lol
Look at the shadow
I knew for the apple because the cake was less tinted purple, and if you look at the top of the stem, the top of the cake stem is actually quite a tad lighter brown than the reals- also a bit longer hehe
That is what I noticed as well. I couldn’t pick out the pear though
The pear was pretty easy to pick out. You put a very distinctive "scar" on the cake that set it apart from the other two pears, but if I hadn't known already ahead of time that it was a cake and didn't remember that particular 'scar' there's no way I could have known the difference. The apple though... that one I couldn't pick out, so well done. ;p
yeah same but i saw the apple in a shorts so i already knew ;P
Agreed, the pear cake is easier to spot. Especially in a well lit room. A real pear not only have dots and scar(s). There're tinie-tiny dot's indents on the surface that'll cost a lot of time to replicate. As for the colouring, I have no objection. Good job 👍🏻
@@berrylicious674 same
Same that was the only one i got
the apple had a distinctive stem, way lighter and thinner than the others, and the pear had a distinctive scar. Also, the pear lacks the gleam the other pears did, but if I weren't looking to spot the not, I would not have realised there was a fake fruit amongst both the pears and the apples
6:50 “Edible water droplets” I didn’t know water wasn’t edible
You are an inspiration to all artists in the world Keep going on
honestly looking at the apples at the end I thought to myself “Nah, the pear was fantastic, and this is good, but it's easy to tell which apple is the cake. Good job tho.” And then you went and cut a different apple than what I thought was “obviously cake”. I was so sure it was the middle one. Absolutely amazing job
Same I think
I though the same
Same!!
I think it’s because she took the stem out of the real apple making it look different than the other two.
uh huh
Me watching the end: "wow, that apple in the middle looks so real!" Natalie: *cuts the apple on the left*
I thought I was the only one😂
Felt the same 😄
Same
Feel the same 😂😂I was shocked when she cut the left side😂
Yup me too. You should hear me yelling "the middle one!!!". Hahaha
Bet artists watches your work and process really happily with how you mix those colours and makes those details They're all so incredibly well made 🥺💗
You did a super job! I literally couldn't tell which was cake or not when they were all together!
Can you imagine seeing a bowl of fruit on the table, and you decide "I'm gonna eat an apple", but then you bite into it and realize its actually a cake? This would actually be a fun way to prank someone
You would feel that it’s not an apple when you pick it up…
It would be delicious though.
after you eat the pear and then you question whats real
@@heidibower2538 unless you dislike cakes. my cousin does. till date I don't understand why or how. not for health reasons. just coz of the taste. she says she doesn't like the smell, taste, look and feel. it puts her off. i am like that with Mangoes. but the smell is fine.
If I just came to eat the pear and I ate a cake, I would be pretty disappointed, because that was not what I wanted
The pear would've actually been harder to spot if I didn't pay attention to that brown spot. The apple was relatively easy to spot as it had much more water drops and they were much denser compared to the other two
Good job!!! same here I did sight too!!!
I did the same thing
Same thing for me with the pear. The apple I also got correct just from examining all three in the thumbnail. Edit: The reason I knew which apple was because of the stem. It seemed too "matchy" with the color of the apple itself compared to the other one with a stem.
Ohh you guys were over examining this. If we weren't aware of her work we would have never guessed...likely
@@chasehim3761 If we weren't aware of her work, we would've looked at these apples and pears and said "cool, a bunch of fruit" and moved on, though she did ask us if we can spot the fake one
They're so awesome! I only knew from the stem color that it was the cake one. In apple there was little bit less water droplets on real apples, but still it is hard to tell what apple was the cake one.
Totally amazing. I got the pear cake right but was totally puzzled by the apples! Awesome x
The pear 🍐 cake was AMAZING! I could not tell the difference but in the Apple 🍎 cake, I could tell the difference by seeing the stem. I love the cakes you make they are sooo unique!
same
I saw a difference in the pears spots but ya, the apples stem gave it away.
@@missmykael Please pray the rosary you are saving lives please do it jesus and Mary are real animals are being abused and need your help please pray for them Jesus and Mary are real
I noticed the stems on both
@@ChaoticAngelKitten Yeah, the spots was also what I noticed different in the pear cake, very well done cakes regardless would probably fool someone that didn't watch the video. I want some cake now.
The only way to differentiate the cake from the real fruits is the reflective texture, the cake has an obvious difference in this appearance, the pear was relatively easy to pick out compared to the apple, the apple took me a second between the second and the first one. You can see slight depressions and unnatural indentions in the reflective texture that ultimately makes the cake noticeable with a close enough look, otherwise, this cake is completely undiscernible from their real-life counterparts.
Yes to all of that. I wouldn't have put it that eloquently so I was looking for this comment to like. Lmao
The 'water drops' on the cake apple are very round (that means that the gel was to solid) in comparison to the real ones, they have a relatively predictable placement and a very uniform shape.
If the apples weren't wax-coated (supermarket apples have a very fine edible wax coating to protect them and make them shinier) it would be much more difficult to use the shine as a tell.
yep
Spoken like an Aspie!😄
The pear one was easy to guess, all you gotta do is remember the layout of the imperfections that were put on the cake pear.
I knew exactly which ones were cake but not because they didn’t look so dang realistic but because I have photogenic memory and remembered all of the little details down to the shape of the water drops on the apple cake as well as the marks you made on the pear, including the bruise. You did an amazing job!!’
I actually guessed right a out the Apple. What I noticed was that the “water” droplets were different than the other two. They were more uniform in their spacing and also higher in number. But I will say, I had to really look at every single detail for a minute before I could see a difference, and even then I wasn’t completely sure lol. You did an amazing job on both tho, and I can’t even imagine the time it takes to learn how to do this.
I noticed the same thing! I was like “those droplets are pretty… a little TOO pretty >.> but all in all it was amazing!
@@kikizuli7813 Oh definitely! This girl has some mad cake making skills for sure! It would be cool if she made the cakes taste like the fruit as well. That would be some next level stuff right there haha

I love your cakes! They are not only imaginative and hyper-realistic, but also very good for pranks.
I just love the way you give commentary, you earned a subscriber ❤ I love your confidence ❤
The cakes were really hyper realistic. If you haven't shown in your video the detailed "bruising" and "water drops" that you have done I would not be able to tell the difference. 😱😍😍😍👌👍
" The imperfections highlight the realism, there's no such thing as a perfect pear (read perfect)" This goes for humans too. ❤️
God bless you
🍪 cookie I love how she made it realistic
Absolutely! Amazing work. Looks so real
This looks SOOO good!!! 🤤 The one thing that gave the apple away was that there were too many droplets on it, and they were too small. You never cease to amaze me! 😮✨
For the pear, it's the stem that gives it away. For the apple, I really couldn't tell which one was the cake 😄
The only 'obvious' difference for me with the apple cake was the water droplets, they don't look like water from the side and also there are so many of them, it feels a bit off. So similar though, right? The pear got me, but I also tried the game first, before I watched the video.
For me, it was the color of the pear in the close-up. The base-color was a bit more neon than the real pears.
@@pretzelmaker3122 the stem for the apple was also very distinguasible

Well done...This is an amazing job
You are amazing! I only knew which pear by the imperfections! The apple I didn't know which was cake, good job!
As an artist that reeeeeeeeally gives the details a good look, I discovered which one was the pear because the freckles were a larger size, and the apple was spotted because the stem was lighter than what it should’ve been. But, god, you are talented
Usually when hyper realism is done there’s always something off about how it looks but I really struggled to be able to tell which one was the cake, no joke I’m an artist so i have an eye for details but these were so spot on I couldn’t tell mostly
Got both of them right. Pear because the imperfections seemed too in place while the apple water droplets looked too much circular instead of the dripping. Extremely impressive 👏 👌 🙌
This was so awesome!!! Excellent work!!!
I had to look SOOOOO close to guess it! The left apple had the *faintest* signs of brush marks, but OMG this is so impressive!! I absolutely love hyper realistic art and your cakes amaze me.
Woah, how do you pronounce your last name??
@@4Rgames why are you so curious huh ☠️
well the droplets are a dead giveaway, ‘too’ perfect unlike reality
Honestly, if I hadn’t seen you make those cakes and remembered specifically what you put on them, like the the imperfections on the pear and the fondant stem on the apple, there’s no way I would’ve been able to tell them apart. Amazing! :D
Me and my mam were watching and we got them both right we think you are incredible and now your videos are on our daily routine 😂
4:40 lol « colour theory »
“I’ll explain why it’s so difficult in just a minute…” Oh, honey…no. Nope. No explanation necessary. I think we know why it’s so difficult, and also why you’re a damn genius when it comes to creating art.
ok
I guessed both! I was super unsure about the pear, but I remembered seeing you paint a brown spot near the bottom which helped me choose the right one. And again, I only guessed the apple right because I recognized the stem you painted. If I hadn't seen the process of you making them I never could have guessed! Absolutely stunning and amazing!
ditto.
I recognized the apple because the water drops with kinda clumped in the middle and spread out sporadically and looked a bit to hand placed
Can we appreciate how much time she spends making the realistic cakes
First off, your work was absolutely wonderful ! The key I believe to correctly identify which ones cake and which one's real is to have a closer look at the white shiny areas of the fruit. If it's real, it will be smooth. If cake, it will be slightly grainy in texture. I could identify both
I really can't believe it's a cake that look so real, can you make a kiwi 🥝 fruit 🥰

Guessed both right. My reasons: 1. Cause you showed us the making of them so I could look for the marking you made 2. The water droplets on the apple were too perfect But amazing tho! If I hadn't been told on eof them was a cake I wouldn't have noticed
Actually the way you could tell with the pear was how it wasn't as Shiney compared to the other fruit

The apple one I only recognized because there were to many water droplets and they seemed to be covering the space in an uniform pattern. But my goodness this surely is art. I am very impressed. I want to make my props as realistic as these.

Most unique form of art ❤
Artist and Baker- Master of Both! The pear was easy because you let me watch you paint on the scars -But the apple was tougher, l was still deciding between twin apples when you cut into it. Thant was an exciting video; informative, fun, and enjoyable. Thanks much!
The apple looks almost perfect, but I could tell which one was the cake in the thumbnail because the water droplets were scattered too perfectly, there needs to me more inconsistency with them. And for the pear, the only difference i found was it lacks that darker green for the details of the skin of it. Otherwise, these cakes look absolutely real :D
Yeah it just looked unnatural. Like there needs to be a few bigger water droplets amongst the small
My giveaway on the apple was the water droplets! That tiny discontinuity happened to catch my eye at the very beginning… the drops looked more ordered/intentional than on the other two. Fascinating work!!
Both cakes were incredible! You are so skilled at this! I couldn't guess the pear, but I think the long stem kinda gave the apple away. But still! Amazing job!

You are literally tooooo good at this 😍😍😍😍..
The pear was absolutely perfect! In my opinion, the stem on the apple looked more red than what stems usually do, while I think that the coloring on these apples was more of a blue based red, not quite as warm as the one you went for. But by all means! You are extremely talented and these cakes were amazing!
Wow....you are truly an artist. Your cakes looked so real!!
I love your hyper-realism! It looks great, and the way that you are actually able to spend so much time and effort on it just to cut it open like that takes a special kind of courage. However.... for the pears, because you use a brush, the tiny pressure from the individual strands give it away, since the light reflecting off of it makes it look ever so slightly duller than an actual pear. You could perhaps have little amounts of glaze to get rid of that, or something similar. As for the apple, since the stems of the other apples are darker at the tip, the somewhat consistent light colour gave it away although i had to do a double take before noticing that.
I found it fairly easy to distinguish the cake from the real fruit, though, I do think you achieved your goal. The only reason why I was able to tell the difference is because with the pear, the brown at the top felt like it was going too far down and with the apple, there were too many water droplets. But still, wonderful job! ^-^
Just incredible that's all I can say as I'm speechless 😂

I thought the same! Lol 👀😂
Good idea, lol
I love art and this really inspired me
Got 'em both! For me, it was in fact the spots on the pears that gave it away, or rather the extremely grainy texture that pears are supposed to have that the cake one didn't. The grainy texture of a pear peel makes the light shining on it more focused and extremely blurred out in one tiny area. The light on the cake was less focused on a singular area and more spread out. For the apple one, it was the water droplets. They felt kinda off. I guess what I'm trying to say is that they were too compact. A little too many and too closely packed against one another. They didn't look like they were sliding down. They didn't seem dynamic in nature. (Honestly, though, had I NOT known that some of these were cakes, I would've been fooled XD)
