It was more Campaign Fraud than Election Interference. Trump's Election Interference was in various states where he tried to steal votes, and he'll have a trial in Georgia for it, and in DC when he tried to use fake electors to overturn the election results.

Technically, the case is based on a nondisclosure, civil settlement. The term "Hush Money" is a slang term. President Trump did not commit any crime by allowing a member of his legal team; to handle the extortion matter. It was the habitual LIAR/perjurer under oath and criminal extortionist Michael Cohen, who handled the matter poorly and who is now revengeful and spewing hatred toward President Trump, for NOT choosing him to be in a high-ranking position in President Donald John Trump's first administration. Cohen even wrote about it in his book.
Funny part is, every, single witness brought by the prosecution has basically said Cohen cannot be trusted..😂😂😂
And let us not forget. The Feds "Raided" Cohens office and took everything covered by client-lawyer priveledge into their possession. That means they know of everything that ever happened between Trump and Cohen yet federal government said there was nothing illegal on Trumps behalf. No other politician on the Hill would have walked away from that . They don't go after each other cause they are all guilty of something.

Not only is it not illegal to pay hush money as many politicians do it is also not illegal to pay your lawyer for services he/she preforms on a clients behalf. This is just a case of bending the law to the breaking point to interfere with the election of an opponent and its obvious.

I liked the judges response to trumps request for the judge to look at these articles and he had a stack of papers. It was a bluff .I would have said let me take a look at those and had he the judge would have found all those papers blank except for maybe the top two.I then would have handed them back and said what the judge said.
