  • What made it really emotional for me was seeing the way each student was feeling, and it was different for all of them. Some were on the verge of tears. Some were distressed. Some were quiet, calm, pondering. A few were even at peace, or at least able to look that way. But it was all realistic. They all were going to miss him.

    • And after they went through with it, everyone was crying, no matter how calm they seemed before. Well, it was hard for me to tell whether Itona was, but that's aside the point. But even so, you can still see everyone's character that way. Some cried hard, they were just so attached to their favorite teacher. Some kept it mostly to themselves, not showing it too much. Even Karasuma, who kept a straight face, got his moment when he called Koro by his name for the first time. He was the one most dedicated to the assassination and keeps serious as a business obligation, but even he is touched. And that's the beauty of this show. Everyone gets their character moments, shares their stories but all in their different ways. Just like real life, it's not all the same for everyone, but everyone's still important.

  • i'm 29 years old male living alone and i just finished this anime.....the final roll call made me cry......the 2nd saddest feels of this anime is the music "Moonlight" in Season 2 Episode 16(the story of how Koro sensei and Aguri met and fell in love(at least according to my interpretation). this anime made me feel again. I've been always working day and night, without any friends, constantly focused on working only and having no life at all(especially with this Covid preventing everyone from going out often). After watching this anime, it sure reminds me of my high school days and i wish i now have friends(or at least just 1 good friend will do).....my working life has made me numb to emotions, and this anime(the final roll call scene onward) made me felt emotions again....i felt very relieved to feel something different(instead of just constantly having feelings of stress(due to work)), it's very refreshing.....i love this anime very much. i'm thankful that i can feel other emotions again.....i wish i have a friend.

  • i have such a huge emotional attachment to this show, it's a huge comfort anime of mine... i was so sad having to let go of the last 2 episodes :((

  • I'm 25 years old, and I have been watching anime since I was 6 years old. At this point, I probably watched 20 different series at this point, maybe more. Anyhow, this is the only series so far that has made me shed a tear. I think that's enough rationale to put this anime in my top 10 of all time.

    • it took me way too long to realise this song is pretty much a slower piano only version of Tabidachi no uta. Or atleast has lots of motifs from it. Anyway these are the only 2 songs which ever made me cry.....
