  • Looking at his trowel, he's not laying in America. English Style Rose or Marshalltown Trowels, are what most Americans use. A brick header course thru the wall would be suggested, to tie everything together. 18 ga, wallties eventually Rust away.

  • I couldn't count how many days I had like that, trolling along laying bricks, heads in Barbados lol I'm 61 and started my apprenticeship in 1978 at 16, loved the game, went all over the UK and Europe made killer money in Germany blew the fyckin lot but the price work took its toll the back is goosed and I need a hip but I'd go to work tomorrow if I could.
