JavaScript Object Notation or JSON is an open-standard file format that uses human-readable text to transmit data objects consisting of attribute-value pairs and array data types (or any other serializable value).
It is a very common data format used for asynchronous browser-server communication, including as a replacement for XML in some AJAX-style systems.
JSON is a language-independent data format.
It was derived from JavaScript,

Agree
Navin is great 👍
@@gauravnegi4312 Totally agree with you, no cap.
This is the first ever video I have watched of Navin. I wish we had a CS teacher like him back in college.
Teachers like you makes education interesting and not make it dull and boring by just conveying some concepts but communicating with realtime examples in the form of stories.
His style of teaching is called "problem-solution" technique of teaching. And he rocks it....
M
This guy needs to be a professor....seriously, he explained the material so concisely & clearly...he didn't bog me down with above entry-level jargon which would otherwise be a pain for a beginner like myself. If you see this, thank you so much and please keep up the good work!!!
I think he is one lol
You're such a good teacher and you speak such a friendly way, amazing!!
now I understand json ...There is a situation where we require data from the server in the form of object so in this case json is helpfull but client and server must have library to convert into json.. Thank you very much sir .. ☺
Thank you for this video, I can see all the preparation and work behind your videos and I love it. Explaining very simple and passionate !
thank you man for your work, I really appreciate what you're doing on this channel and I promise you when I'll get hired in the IT domain I'll donate to you.
same here
I had been following your channel since I started learning coding.....so whatever concept I want I just type your channel in KZhead and there's I found a very simplified explanation of any topic so that viewers can easily understand the purpose and use of that clearly .....thank you so much for creating awareness to so many people through your channel and keep rocking .....thank you....
That is a good explanation! I understand why you need to use JSON now. Thanks for the video!
Now the amazing thing is this was awesome
You explained with such a ease...the concept got crystal clear...thanks a ton to you for such a great explanation.
My first comment in KZhead. But you describing the JSON purpose as a data format to send to a client site thoroughly in a very in articulate way is amazing. Keep it up!!!
Amazing explanation ! Since I dabble with API lately, I been binging .JSON explanation videos on youtube (there are 4 or 5). I thought I had the gist of it since it started to become repetitive from one vid to the next (string, number, boolean, array, object, imbrication...rinse, repeat). This dude brought a WHOLE NEW lot of aspects I didn't even know I needed to know. Really answering the why of .json really really well
Thanks in a million. What an explanations! I am always coming back to watch this video over and over again. You got the best stuff on earth.
in just a short video, u gave such a conceptual overview of JSON. Amazing :)
Your style and the way you teach is awesome......I have gone through your all videos. Perfect platform to learn the technologies. Thank you so much for your efforts.
Absolutely great video, in a saturated market of courses and tutorials, this is one the best I've ever seen, will be subscribing;)
Thanks for this tutorial. Right exactly in the moment, when I am beginning with RESTful API.

Very good explanation! I am new to web technologies, and was been trying to understand JSON for more than an Hr. from different websites. This video gave a good background and explained the concept. I have subscribed for your videos :)
Cleared all of my doubts! Thank you sir
He is the heart winning guy !
Hey, thank you for explain this, now i understand JSON.
The best tutorial on youtube for JSON .. thanku so much sir ❤️
Well damn, I understood everything in such simple way and I thought it was way more complex. Thank God you are doing these videos!
An excellent explanation , so much positivity when he speaks. Great energy
Learnt JSON in 12 minutes. Nice tutorial.
The JSON should actually be var jsonStr = '{ "eid" : 1, "ename": "Navin", "salary": 6000, "dept": "Education"}'; which is a string. To convert it into an actual JavaScript object, use: var jsObject = JSON.parse(jsonStr);
Cool I'm trying to hack my offline game so I'm trying to learn
string !!!
Dont forget, JSON only support double quote
Thank you so much, this was probably the easiest explanation I came across so far.
Trust me watch this video if u want to know in detail about json. Watched many till now.. but this one is just perfect.
Sir you are superhero of student's you are doing very nice job love u sir

Very good basic explanation Nevin. As someone who is not a career developer and having had to futz with conversions between objects and JSON across various languages, it was very confusing for me (and still is sometimes) to work with what feels like it should be such a simple data structure to use.
Clear and comprehensive explanation. Thank you, Telusko!
I kindly request if anyone can explain the two terms(vocab) he used something start with "S" and "de fetch" from @06:05 to @06:20.
